Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill is a fantastic spot in Simi Valley for those who want bold, fresh flavors with a healthy twist. One standout item from a recent visit was the Salmon Burrito—and it absolutely delivered. The salmon was grilled perfectly—moist, flaky, and infused with a delicious smoky flavor from their woodfired grill. It was wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla with brown rice, black beans, fresh guacamole, and just the right amount of sauce to tie it all together without overpowering the fish. The burrito was hearty but felt clean and satisfying, not heavy or greasy. What really sets Sharky’s apart is the quality of their ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, from the veggies to the fish, and you can tell they care about sourcing and preparation. The portion size was generous, and the meal was filling without leaving you sluggish. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the place was clean with a relaxed, casual atmosphere. It’s great for a quick lunch or a healthy dinner option when you’re craving something flavorful but also nutritious. Highly recommend the Salmon Burrito if you’re a seafood fan—it’s one of the better fast-casual burritos around, hands down.

This is it, folks. FRESH, delicious, healthy-ish, great service. This is my favorite place to eat in all of Simi Valley. I have not had something here I dislike- from their world-class nachos all the way to healthy options like superfood salads. The restaurant is always clean and friendly. Their salsas are some of the best around and I could just gush forever. The best part is they have something for everyone- kids meals, vegan options, low carb, hell, I think even a bodybuilder can eat a Power Plate here...I'm usually over here with my fish tacos (10/10) or a Santa Fe burrito but I like that I can pick something a little lighter if I want to. Never leave Simi, Sharkys!

My friend and his family live in Simi, very close to Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill, yet had not been there yet. It was my first time in the area, so I looked at a few places around d the area, and Sharky’s had great reviews. I ordered for my friend, his sister and myself.

The MOST notable feature was the awesome customer service (I wish I remembered the young woman’s name who “tolerated” a first-timer like me 😁). She had a great sense of humor, KNEW the menu, as well as worked the POS quick with a positive and genuine demeanor ✨

I ordered one fish and one chicken soft taco, a chicken and steak burrito for my friend, and a crunch chicken burrito for his sister. The fish taco was awesome! Everything was devoured and enjoyed 💥

Since it was my first time in, I didn’t know only one order of fries were included (I would have ordered more), and very limited sauces were put in the bag. I’ll know better next time to include additional items I suppose. I thought the portions were a bit small (considering how most guys inhale food 😜).

ALL IN ALL though, everyone was happy … so that certainly counts...

I ordered online and came in to pick -up order, Johanna was very rude. I came up to her to give her my name and she reacted as if she was very annoyed for me coming up to her. I noticed that there was a line for ordering at counter and pick up table but there was a group of people that where I was supposed to stand so to practice social distancing I went to the other side of the person in front of me.

Johanna told me that I had to be in that line and she rudely said she will be right me, I told her I was next and she sarcastically said “mmhmm really?” Had her for salsa and she threw them angrily in the bag. I’m very upset with this experience. Who wants to spend almost $40 on two meals and get such bad service. I think people in service industry should keep in mind that customers come and choose a restaurant that spend their hard earned money at and expect to get treated at least a little nicely. Order was also packed very poorly and was missing napkins and plastic ware. Didn’t even want to check before I left because I wanted to just leave because how bad the...
