I have started a new business and part of being successful is making sacrifices in the beginning. That means no going out and certainly cooking at home.
One love I have had is the Burger King Whopper. Wednesdays they offer $3.99 Whopper. Every other week I splurge and enjoy it.
Tonight I walked in to the Simpsonville location off of Fairview. As usual no one in line. I used my code for the special price and that's when one individual behind the counter stated "OH, crown points aren't working on our register. I said, well I don't care about the points, just the discount. They, a younger woman had joined trying to make it work, ranging up my order and charged full price. I was not expecting that. I asked can I order online thru the app and get the discount? They stated yes. Unfortunately, you can't pay with a credit card or cash...even if you are picking up inside. You have to use Google pay.
I asked to speak with the main manager. She came out and claimed this problem had been going on all day and she couldn't do anything about it? Give me a break.
I stated that I didn't understand, being a general manager, why she couldn't just wave the cost of the medium fries and I would pay the full price of the burger?
The answer she gave me was what blew me away. Such disrespect for what little customers they have!
She looked at me and said "Is the $2 discount really that big of a deal?"
Absolutely terrible behavior and comment to state to any customer.
Tomorrow, I will post this on Corporate Burger King Facebook and the CEO will receive a copy.
This behavior is unacceptable. FYI, when she stated that to me I looked at her and told her she was very stupid and disrespectful.
Shame on anyone who makes light of an individual watching every dollar going out and in to...
Read moreI want to take a moment to recognize a very hardworking young lady named Star and she truly shines like one! 🌟
When I pulled up, Star greeted me at the speaker and window with professionalism and a beautiful smile that immediately made my visit better. She was handling the front all on her own until the next worker arrived, yet she worked efficiently, serving both me and the customers inside without missing a beat.
What impressed me most was not just her work ethic, but her positive attitude under pressure. I had just come from Wendy’s where my tap-to-pay wouldn’t work after several attempts. Thankfully, Burger King’s system worked smoothly, and Star turned what started as a frustrating experience into a great one with her kindness, patience, and efficiency.
Star, thank you for your hard work—you’re a bright example of customer service...
Read moreWe order the two sandwich and French fries on the drive through but I had a coupon and when it was time to pay I gave the coupon through the window but young lady charged me $17.24 which was odd because the coupon I have is $5.99, the expiration date is April 28 , Today is March 17th. After I find out and ask her why the price is different. She said she can’t make the coupon price. She is charged me without my permission. It’s nothing problem with the coupon. If she really can’t do the coupon she should let me know before charging me. And then I asked her to get my coupons back, she said she doesn’t know where is it. I should give her back the sandwich and tell her I don’t want it. That is a very very really very bad experience and...
