What a terrible experience. I paid 44 dollars for an online order. These bozos lost it. Had to show them on my phone to prove that I had really ordered it. Then I proceeded to wait 20 minutes past my order time for them to make my order. I get it to the car. I am missing a burger, and my hotdog has no toppings. I take it back in. I proceed to wait another 20 minutes. They do not remake the hotdog. They put the toppings on the side and don’t even include all of them. Finally I get my other burger. Of course it is incorrect. I pay for a bacon cheeseburger and get a little burger without the correct toppings. I paid 44 dollars for a terrible experience, did not get what I paid for, and had to wait 45 minutes past my pickup time. What compensation was I offered? Not a thing. Not a single thing. No apologies no discount for bad business. 44 dollars to go home angrier than I was when I left. Pictures are included to show how these professionals ensured that they provided the customer (me) an accurate order (they didn’t). I want to be clear, I do not believe this is entirely a reflection of the workers. It was evident that they were understaffed and in the weeds. They were doing the best they could. I think this experience reflects...
Read moreSeptember last year my wife and I ordered afternoon lunch like we did once every week. This time when we went in to pay and pick up our food there was a girl that came from behind the food making station and was trying to have an inappropriate conversation with me with my wife standing next to me. I asked her to stop, she didnt and that turned into her blowing kisses toward my wife even though my wife wasn't saying anything. Next thing I know Rhonda (manager) was taking off her apron and screaming at us to get out. We complied and left while Rhonda was following us out threatening me. If that wasn't enough Rhonda called the police and lied through her teeth and they called us saying we would be arrested if we went there again. We went once a week for more than a year and never had a problem. When we got home my wife called and spoke to Rhonda where she even admitted that we didn't do anything wrong! Called Corporate 5 times and never returned any of my calls!! This has affected my wife deeply because she still doesn't understand what happened and neither do I! People that know us have vowed to never eat at...
Read moreHaving heard mixed opinions about Five Guys, I decided to try it myself. The quality of the food is top notch, in the range of Fuddruckers (maybe a little better, but it doesn't quite top Ike's in Spartanburg). The burgers had an excellent flavor, with as many toppings as you could want. The fries are great, and come in massive portions. Price isn't bad, a little high for standard fast food but this is much better than your typical fast food. We paid around $18 for a cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, two drinks, and medium order of fries (all toppings other than bacon are free). The decor is pretty plain, an open room with a mix of high top and standard tables. The windows are lined with quotes and ratings from a variety of sources about Five Guys. It's cool to hear all the positive reviews, but it's a tad excessive. Service was excellent, both friendly and quick. There was a bit of a line, but we got through and received our order in no time. I greatly enjoyed the visit and plan to...
