Let me give you a little background my review is based not only on the perspective of a customer of this store but as a delivery driver for doordash and Uber Eats. I have been driving doordash and Uber Eats for over 4 years I have nearly 7500 deliveries on the books and many many of those deliveries are Taco Bell deliveries. I work in the Asheville area also Hendersonville, Spartanburg, Taylors, Greenville and Greer and the Simpsonville, Fountain Inn area as well as Mauldin. The Taco Bell on Fairview Road in Simpsonville is the absolute best Taco Bell I have ever interacted with in my life. I want to be clear that I do not have any relationship with anybody who works there no family members no friends. But I am here to tell you as someone who has quite a bit of experience with Taco Bell restaurants since I have literally picked up food for delivery from nearly every single one in all of the areas that I mentioned above this store is above and beyond the very best Taco Bell store in all of the areas that I work. The attitude of the employees, the hustle and good work ethic of the employees the friendliness level and OnPoint customer service that the employees give to Dine-in, pick up and delivery customers is all the way, five stars, top notch. As a previous food service manager I truly believe that the employees attitudes are a reflection of management. And in the case of this store it is 100% true yet again. The manager Latoya is a super example of a hard-working great leader in her store not a boss but a leader. She has a contagious upbeat driven personality and it definitely trickles down to her staff. After Covid, customer service especially in the fast food industry drastically changed at first it suffered because of Staffing issues and being able to bring back old employees and Recruit new employees that would actually show up and care about the job that they did. And for some reason it has never really been brought back to the level that it was prior to covid but you would not know that Covid ever happened in this store because the customer service is literally hands down the absolute best of the dozens and dozens of Taco Bell stores and especially im regard to other brands in the area. To be honest in some of the regions that I work in I refuse to accept orders at most of the Taco Bells because I have learned that it is a terrible experience from a driver's point of view, but I will take any order and all orders if I am on the clock in Simpsonville from the Fairview Road Simpsonville Taco Bell. I encourage you to come by the Fairview Road and Grandview Road Taco Bell in Simpsonville if you ever are in the area and check it out for yourself. So a big thank you to all the staff and to Latoya at the Fairview Road Simpsonville Taco Bell keep up...
Read moreNeeds improvements on customer service!!!!! I pulled into the drve thru at 9:00pm I live 1 mile away and I just pulling into my driveway at 10:13!!!! I noticed that there was a Long line, but thought nothing of it since it's a Fast food restaurant, right? WRONG! It took 20 min to get to the intercom. When I finally pull up to it I'm just sitting there waiting and expecting to get welcome to taco Bell can I have your order or at least Hear taco Bell can you hold on for me? But instead I'm just sitting staring at the speaker wondering if they even knew I was waiting. Finally I decided to say hello? And I finally get a response saying can you hold I said yeah you’re fine. I waited for about 15 minutes to even be able to place my order. Waited about another 20 minutes to get to the drive-through window to pay and get my food. The boy at the window was very friendly very nice. But I had to wait about another 20 minutes or so to leave and have him handed me my food through my window. How in the hell is that fast food? And every customer At all times should be at knowledged regardless as to how busy they are just a Simple can you hold please. Would have been just fine customer service is always number one The guest come first food come second any other problems in between comes after but number one priority should always be customer service at any business. And fast food restaurants have drive-through’s because it’s fast food there’s nothing fast about waiting over an hour just to get 4 double decker tacos Geewhiz It’s not Gourmet food it’s Taco Bell for crying out loud it’s supposed to be convenient. It shouldn’t be a setback that’s the purpose of having a drive-through and the purpose of that food and driving in it. Very disappointed it was a ridiculous experience could have been done much better especially with the manager present they need some customer service classes/seminars to learn how to be a good representation of a business and learn Some customer service skills. I never got an apology sorry for the way not what I ordered not when I paid it not when they handed me my food and I was finally able to drive away after working At my salon...
Read moreTo say that if I could, in fact give this Taco Bell a negative 10 is an understatement. Tonight, I ordered a 5 for 5. Upon arriving home, my family and I opened up our bags to empty taco shells. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager.
PS- I’ve spoken to a manager by the name of Sarah (maybe Farrah?) on numerous occasions. Once for closing down the drive thru early. After that incident, I talked to her on two other occasions about missing items in my order.
However- tonight was a completely different story- Once again, my gullible mind decided to give Taco Bell the benefit of the doubt. I got home to empty Dorito shells, little to no meat on the bottom of my bag (assuming it spilled)- I mean it was atrocious. However I will say the fire sauce did help mask the Dorito chips bag I ate. Honestly I was better off going to the gas station rather than getting a soggy shell with nothing in it.
I called the facility and asked to speak to a manager. He identified himself as “Jeff” - which I asked for clarification twice and he mumbled. I advised him of the order I received (tacos with no meat)- he repeated my statement which I confirmed. I asked him if they had a specific meat quantity that they are allowed to provide in each taco, his response- “one cup.” I told him it looked like someone just basically threw a shell and didn’t take the time to make my order. He was not receptive whatsoever. At this point I became agitated. I expressed my concerns and frustration, however he could careless. Clearly, as a manager myself- I advised him that his response to my concern was not addressed appropriately. He spent a total of 4 minutes speaking over me rather than apologizing and making things right. Not once did he apologize, nor try to amend the service I was provided- then he hung up on me.
I will never return. Going forward I will steer clear from this location. I’ll just drive the opposite side of town- Woodruff Rd. The traffic sucks but the service is a million times better, and I actually get meat rather than just a shell for my meal.
Save yourself the trouble- this place...
