I don't post many reviews, but I HAD to post one for Outlawed Ramen! Absolutely fantastic broth!! I had the Chinese beef stew ramen, and was delightfully blown away by the complex and delicious flavor of the broth! You can definitely taste the love that the chef puts into her homemade broth with every slurp! A lot of ramen places around town use "canned" pre-made broth from their food distributor .... not Outlawed Ramen however! The chef makes all of her own broth in house using her own blend of special imported spices ... the chef was kind enough to let me sample some of the other broth too! Don't let the hot summer weather stop you... if you love ramen then you've got to stop by Outlawed Ramen and slurp up a big tasty bowl now!!! Located just outside the main door of Warehouse at Vaughn's in Simpsonville.

This ramen restaurant has a lot of potential. I really struggled with whether or not I should rate them 4 or 5 stars, and decided to go with 5 stars because the flavor of the broth and texture of the noodles was absolutely perfect and the service was great! My only complaint was that the pork was pretty tough. I appreciate that they chopped it up into manageable bites, I like how a lot of ramen restaurants are doing that now. However the pork was just too tough. However the flavor and potential is absolutely there! It could have also just been an off time with them being new and being there early for lunch. I hope this place stays at Vaughns because I love having a Japanese restaurant there as an option!

Excellent customer service. The Spring Rolls were delicious and came with a tasty sauce. The ramin was very good. Definitely the best I’ve had in the Greenville area. The broth was amazing and the egg was cooked perfect. Appreciated all the goodies in it like edamame, corn, bean sprouts l, and more. I ordered spicy and it wasn’t very spicy but I also eat very spicy so that might just be me. I do wish you guys had an Instagram and also Vaughns needs to promote you guys more. I don’t see one post on their Insta…

Ramen is not a meal that normally would generate a review - it is typically a meal that is ok when you just need something in a hurry. This is not that Ramen shop though. My wife and I just had our first meal at Outlawed. Outdoor seating on a gorgeous Spring day was the setting for the best ramen I have ever eaten- (and I have eaten a lot of it having lived and worked in Korea, Thailand and Hawai’i all of which are Ramen “hotspots”). I had the Short-rib Ramen - the broth was really flavorful and the meat was a complete short-rib in the bowl tender and tasty! My wife had Tonkatsu Ramen - again really tasty and especially flavorful broth. The service was friendly and timely. We drove from Greer to Simpsonville which is not around the corner- but the food made this well worth it - what a great find!! I highly recommend that you give Outlawed Ramen a try- you will not be...

The Vegan Ramen was very good! It was so nice having a gluten free noodle and vegan option, I haven’t been able to find a ramen place with these options before. My only complaint is how little there were toppings. I could count the bean sprouts, the corn, and everything that was a topping unfortunately. I saw the reviews and noticed that maybe they give less for to go orders. The broth was super tasty and so was the protein I added. Amanda placed my order and she did not fall short of amazing! She was super knowledgeable and helped me make sure everything was to my dietary standard and gave me the BEST recommendations. It was a little pricey for what it was (lack of toppings is making me salty haha) but the portion size was great especially for take out! I am very pleased and also stuff. I...
