My daughter asked for Raising Canes after her procedure. It’s a little far from home so I was excited that it was closer from where we were. I’d had it before but this was her 1st time trying. When I arrived, there was plenty of parking. She wanted to go to the drive through but I wanted her to see how cool their decor is. Their decor is very cool and the customer service is always top tier. My favs the color tables and Flavor Fav. The area outside and inside was very clean. It was very packed this day but we still didn’t have to wait long. I started on my chicken tenders because I wanted to try them without the sauce. The perfectly cooked but didn’t tasted seasoned at all. I must say they’re like the ying to the chickens yang. The sauce had a lot of flavor, a lil too salty but it balanced the tenders. I will also say the sauce was not what I excepted. I was expecting tangy but it wasn’t. The coleslaw was so good. Not a sweet slaw but a good traditional one. The fries were yummy and that bread was heavenly. Perfectly buttered with an amazing crunch! My daughter loved everything but the coleslaw which I didn’t mind taking off her hands lol. I wished they’d add a lil more seasoning to the chicken and less salt to the sauce. Either way they’ve made a Caniac out of my daughter. They say they’re a chicken finger restaurant and that’s exactly what it is! I would highly recommend.

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers was founded in 1996 in Louisiana; there are approximately 700 locations. This one in Simsbury just opened in September 2024. I waited until the hype died down and decided to try out the brand for the first time ever. I was surprised when I got to the drive through, there was only a car there, I expected a line. There were two people standing outside taking orders. The person who took my order was friendly. Their drive through process seemed efficient. I ordered two of "The Box Combos" (one for my husband). There are 4 chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, one Cane's sauce, Texas toast, coleslaw, and a fountain drink. I waited a few minutes, got my meals, and was on my way home. The chicken tenders tasted good and was real meat (not like chicken nuggets consistency) but it was not as crispy as I expected. I prefer my tenders crispy, not sure if this was a one off thing for them. I really enjoyed the Cane's sauce which tasted like a creamy ketchup; I read that it is mayonnaise, Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Garlic powder, and Black pepper. The Cole slaw was decent and I really liked the Texas toast. The only complaints were, the fries were super soggy and the chicken tenders weren't crispy. Overall, a decent spot to get fast food; it wasn't mind blowing but it wasn't bad either.

Some of the reviews here are just harsh or maybe they hit it on a bad day? I’m not sure but we came here tonight and it was great. Our youngest son is also a very picky eater, beyond picky. It was picky eater approved. We came here for the first time today and we all really enjoyed the food. It wasn’t excessively greasy so I didn’t feel gross after eating it. The breading is crunchy and the chicken soft on the inside. They only have their one sauce ‘Cane’s Sauce,’ which is good but I’d still prefer to have another option to choose from. Otherwise I highly recommend it. The toast was also really good too. The overall vibe in the restaurant is pleasant, and everyone was pretty friendly! We’ll be back!

Raising Cane's was on my list to try based on my kids recommendation about how popular chain was and her excitement for the opening of this location. So I went in with an open mind. I am a fan of frightened chicken so was looking forward to this visit. First off, I drive by this location quite a bit. It is always busy. In my mind that's a good thing to have food turnover to keep it fresh. The person who took my order gets five out of five. Very personable, fast, professional. Because of how crowded the restaurant was, I ordered the food to go and ate it in my car in the parking lot. No big deal. I got the four strip box. It includes four chicken tenders, their special sauce, fries, coleslaw, some type of toasted bread. The chicken strips were okay. Super hot right out of the fryer. Lightly crispy. The special sauce was horrible. Too much ground pepper and literally no flavor. The crinkle cut fries were above average. Hot. And a nice crisp to them. The coleslaw was okay. Honestly it could have used some celery seed and just a little bit of sweetness to it. But it was crisp and fresh. Finally, the bread. Or toast. Or whatever you want to call it. I'm not sure what it's for. It's too thick, not toasted enough, and zero flavor. Flavor. Perhaps some garlic, salt or some other seasoning would make it edible, but as it is it was a disappointment. Overall I would say this is an average meal at any number of fast food restaurants. In the fried chicken category okay right now Popeyes reigns supreme. I am hopeful this chain adds fried Chicken to the menu and a larger selection of dipping sauce. That would improve the...
