QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Sioux City

Stopped to bring home, my son and I a burrito bowl...they had lots of help that evening..it was about 8:15 pm... Asked for brisket for the meat ...they had about enough for one bowl maybe...put it on both bowls. The girl yelled I need more brisket to workers in the back...They brought more out.. which I figured would be added to our bowls...nope...the sauteed veggies were gone and many other metal boxes were empty...I guess when they are out for the night you just get a sub par burrito bowl. I have been here many times and this was the worst one ever... Very dissapointed! Pretty much a veggie and rice bowl for my 6' 3 " son for dinner. Note later he came up and said wow, did they forget to put meat on that bowl...I did not say a word about it to him...Lol..."it tasted ok, but it seemed like there was not much meat". Pretty much due to little effort by one...

Service was terrible. The man helping me had a tatted arm and was extremely rude. When I asked for queso he didn't even let me tell which kind, when I asked for salsa he automatically went for the spiciest, when I asked for beef he corrected me and said "you mean steak." Then when I said beef he just put on shredded without asking me if I wanted ground beef. He didn't spread anything out and did a very sloppy job. He rushed my dad and I as if they closed 5 minutes previous. He threw everything together as if he didn't care. The other person working there was fantastic, but the guy with the tattood arm was very rude and...

Generally have pretty good luck here. The fresh lime salt chips are quite good, so I generally get nachos with chips on the side. It’s just one entree price, but you get a bit more in the bowl without the chips being in there and then they won’t get soggy either. Ingredients are fresh, portions a decent, and your meal can be whipped up pretty quick. Place is usually fairly clean, and I find most staff friendly and helpful if needed as well. As with most places, consistency can vary as far as portions, service, but over all, mostly good here. I would certainly give this place a try if you haven’t to see what your own...
