I tend to only write reviews of things that were really good or really bad, and this was a great surprise. We chose it randomly to do something new for lunch. We had passed by it many times, but never eaten there. That will change now as we will definitely go back. The food was fantastic. Both dishes that we had were so flavorful!! The prices were reasonable, and the staff was also very friendly and attentive.
If you like Indian food or haven't tried it but are up for something new, this is a great place.
Honestly, I tend to rate places based on their value for the dollar, but the food here would rate a 5 star compared to almost anything or any other place I have eaten. I don't often eat a high end places, but my wife is a fantastic cook and this food compared with the best she's ever cooked, which is...
Read moreI would like to note I haven't been to any other indian restaurants since coming to the Midwest 5 months ago. So, I am comparing to Houston not Sioux City. It’s in the old Pancheros location. I was expecting sort of the same thing. Grab food and go. You could tell many other coming in felt the same. You walk in and where you ordered food before is now a wall. Food was ok. Rice wasn’t fully cooked, but for the most part was ok. Seemed like $15 was a bit steep for what I got. Even though it was a to-go order, no napkins or plasticware was included. I may try it again, but honestly, I would have much rather preferred Pancheros...
