Mr. Donuts — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

I snagged a sampling of donuts this morning and was very impressed. Entered the store to a warm welcome and a very helpful staff. Plenty of people at the counter so the line moves swiftly. The case is packed with so many good things to choose from. The prices are really good too. I got a big box of donuts and 2 kolache for like 16 bucks. So far I've tried a cake and a yeast donut and both were soft and fresh with a wonderfully tasting dough under the sweetness. The kolache are really great too. Savory sausage wrapped in slightly sweet and chewy dough. I will be craving these until I get my next fix. My husband and son sampled the apple fritter and cinnamon roll and gave them both high praises. My only disappointment was they didn't have any creme long johns, only custard, which I know people love, but I am not a fan. Aside from that tiniest of hiccups I am really liking the place and look forward to...

While we often get individual donuts at our local convenience store, Mr. Donuts is a special treat for us because it's hard not to buy a dozen when we go. They have standard donuts (glazed, sugared, long johns, holes, etc), special donuts (sprinkles, decorated, maple bacon, etc), and other loved pastries, and they are notably larger than your basic convenience fare. The quality and service is definitely worth the price. And they have drive thru for quick stops if needed!

We spent just under $19 for 2 pudding long johns, one maple bacon long john, 2 cinnamon twists, a pink frosted sprinkle, and 6 glazed. The server was sweet enough to fill the small gap with a few glazed donut holes and gave our son one for the walk to the car. Never expected, but a generous gesture.

We were so happy that this business has been successful enough to open a second location in our area and hope the success continues....

After moving to Sioux Falls from Texas I’d been looking for a donut shop to frequent and let me tell you, this is the one!

Mr Donut does show strange hours online, but you can call to confirm if they’re open or not, we went on a Saturday and the woman told us they were open until 2pm

The donuts are phenomenal, much better IMHO than flyboy donuts. They have a wide selection, moist flavorful donuts, and the price is right!

We tried their pig in blanket “kolaches”, old fashioned, cake donuts, and filled donuts and they were all great, not to mention the owner had thrown 2 of them in for free!

10/10 absolutely recommend, the only downside is how far they are from my home, but that’s a problem I can...
