A friend in a computer job recommended them because of the “HP authorized service service center” status. I took my laptop in with broken hinges. Got there with my laptop, gave them password and left. I got a call asking again for my password and it worked that time. What he didn’t tell me was the shift keys didn’t work and they had to hook up a different keyboard to make the password work. They fixed the hinges and called me to pick it up. I paid $267, brought it home and set it in the corner to charge. Two weeks later, yes two weeks, I’d gotten used to the internet on my phone, I opened it up and there was a black spot on the screen and my shift keys didn’t work and all the keys that need the shift key to show up didn’t work. I called and he said to bring it in. Well today he called and said it was ready to pick up. He said the work they did the first time had nothing to do with the shift buttons or the screen, and the shift buttons didn’t work when I brought it in the first time which is why they called for password help, and they had to hook up an external keyboard, but they fixed it all to “ keep the customer happy”. I went to pick it up getting more and more upset at the insinuation that I had been dishonest with him. When I arrived, he didn’t want to go thru the timeline from beginning to today but I did. He said the keys were trouble from the start -proven by the fact that he called for password help- and I asked him why he didn’t inform me that my keys were broken, either then or when I picked it up? He tried to fast forward the story but I wanted to know why he didn’t inform his customer the computer had faults? I told him he wasn’t honest with me instead of the other way around. I asked if he was used to his customers lying to him and he said Yes! It happens ALLLL the time! I don’t make a habit of lying to people or omitting information and that’s what he did. Then he insulted me by saying he had to fix something he shouldn’t have had to fix just “to keep the customer happy”. I said you have an insulted customer not a happy customer. I wouldn’t cross the street if they were fixing for free. HP authorized does not mean honest or fair...
Read moreI was incredibly impressed by the kindness and service that I received when working with Green Eggs and Ram. My home printer was not working and needed repair. I first placed a call to the store and spoke with a gentleman who was super kind and patient with all of my questions. After this phone call, I felt very confident in taking my printer to the store. Upon taking my printer in, I spoke with another kind gentleman and he let me know that they were about a week out for servicing printers. However, about five to ten minutes after leaving the store, he called me to let me know that he was able to fix my printer's issue with a small adjustment to a roller inside the printer. I was incredibly grateful that he repaired my printer so quickly, and to have it back in use! Furthermore, I greatly appreciated his honesty in what needed to be done to get my printer up and going again, and because the adjustment didn't require much time or repair, he did not charge me for his help. I feel very confident in recommending this business based on the kindness and honesty of the two gentlemen that I worked with. They turned a very frustrating situation into a very pleasant experience. Thank you for your wonderful...
Read moreThese guys are awesome! My hard drive malfunctioned and crashed like crazy to the point where my desktop would not even boot up. I brought it to Green Eggs and RAM. The old hard drive was shot so I needed a new one. Purchased a new 3 TB hard drive from them to replace the broken one. They installed it and successfully cloned all of the files from the old hard drive to the new one, so when I brought home my computer everything was in perfect working order and right where I left it! $90 for the repair service and $120 for the new hard drive. A great deal and more than fair price for their work. Timeline: took it in Friday morning, brought it home Wednesday afternoon. There were a lot of files to clone after all! It was worth it! I called to get updates each business day and the gentleman on the phone (Lee?) was incredibly nice and helpful. He answered all of my questions and always knew the status of my computer. They have a really great team here. You can trust your precious computer with Green Eggs and RAM! Thank you so much for your...
