Typical store atmosphere for subway. Service is rude never a smile or anything just want your money and get you in and out. I used to work fore Subway years ago on 12th and on Minnesota ones and never did we ever make customers feel like they are there just to give away there money just to receive rude inconvenienced customer service. Even manager dude on Minnesota Ave seems overwhelmed and very inconvenience and very rude just bad experiences and will not go back. Also need to give fresh cute meats and bit more vegetables for price as just a oz of lettuce for a footlong and 4 slices of tomato and maybe 6 really thin pieces of onion and so on is not what I remember, just sad and giving out bread that obviously they forgot to reclose lid to bread so you end up with hard bread plus obviously forgot timer on bread times thus bread gets a bit darker and more dry. Cleaning bathrooms and sweeping and cleaning more on sandwich stations and around prep station is highly recommended as I have noticed has gone down because once again these young employees can't be inconvenienced with work as they would rather sit and talk and joke around instead of working . The person working the cash register did not understand how the coupon worked, because at first it wouldn't work on his end, and then it all of a sudden worked but I was charged extra for a bag of chips PLUS the meal deal. I said that it doesn't look right and explained to him why. He said "well the upcharge on everything is crazy these days" and that it's correct. It's fishy that I was charged over $8 for the deal, when it shouldn't have been THAT much. I was overcharged for a skimpy sandwich and an extra bag of chips. I am someone who usually is okay with people who make honest mistakes and correct them, but this person argued with me. And I'm also not someone to normally give bad reciews. The open sign was still open and the time was 9:58 when it closes at 10pm. The worker denied me service and told me they were closed(when she clearly was assisting someone else and the open sign was on). She should have stayed open to assist a loyal costumer like myself.
