Free food is free food but that's besides the point. I've had a couple very strange experiences here that need to be shared. I haven't taken it up the food chain but if things like this continue to happen, it's going to be brought to someone's attention. I've utilized their free food pantry many times in the days they normally offer it. Everything has went smoothly except a few things. First is that when they originally started it, they blocked off parking in the lot which is now open. They had bathrooms open to the public but that is now no longer an option. Here are the 2 situations I've had which were very odd and didn't feel right to me. I come to the building and park in the lot as usual on a normal day they're open. It's later after their starting hours so I'm expecting them to be caught up from the rush. As im approaching the door, a white guy with a hat on stops me and says I need to wait at the door. He didn't give any clear instructions, he just said I need to wait before going in. There was no one else walking in with me or at the door in any sort of line. It was just me. I stand there about 5 minutes and watch as he just walks around and keeps looking at me in the corner of his eye. Eventually, he gets so sidetracked helping someone in their car in the parking lot, I had been standing there about ten minutes at that point. One other person walks up finally to go inside and I just follow them. I've seen this guy helping out and it seems he must be one of the people coordinating things. Either way, it was really odd he said that because when I got inside, they werent busy. Why did he stop me at the door and just made me stand there for no reason? I've also seen this gentleman many times in passing and I look him in the eyes and say hello and he deliberately looks at me and doesn't say it back. 2nd situation I've noticed multiple times with another person who I believe is coordinating things. He is a shorter gentleman and older and has been with the program I believe since they started doing this years ago. When we first came, he was super rude to us which we reported. Ever sense than, we haven't had any issues with that. But I've noticed this guy multiple times basically picking out favorites within the people who come in. The last time I went, he was watching a particular person in line and sparking conversation since he's seen her before from what it sounded like. At the end of the line, he asked to clarify her name and than proceeded to go to the back wherever he had a stash of food and gave her 2 boxes of stuff. I asked him if I could have some cause that day, there was pretty much just scraps left. He said nope and also acted offended for me asking. He than stated the stuff he gave her wasn't even a big deal. Really weird behavior from these 2 people. If it continues, I will report it further to who...

The staff are all rude and very disrespectful people. The ring leader the man with the glasses is very hostile and mean! He talks down to people and when you stick up for yourself he plays victim and act as if you are the one in the wrong for speaking up for yourself. They look down one the people that comes in there. My first and last time there! They’re only in it to feed their egos. They are all very terrible and hostile people! All together the worst experience I’ve ever had and the nastiest form of human being works there. The workers are hateful and pure evil!

I see you’re trying to discredit my experience that I had today with your staff. I didn’t say anything about staying at the women center. I went to your facility that’s located at 701 E 8th street today to pick up food. There your employees was extremely hostile and rude( especially the man with the glasses). Never in my life have I experienced such vile and disgusting behavior from people who claim to be Christians! I can see you didn’t do any investigation on this incident before replying which speak volumes. I will not allow u to discredit me especially after the horrible treatment your staff give me. I would give a Zero because they claim Christ with their mouths & are still far from him. All places I go too claim they serve him & yet are still stuck in the lies of men's traditions & teachings of lies over the truth! I've eaten lunch there & have received a voucher for clothing. They help yes but it is still not doing God's service because they are stuck in the Antichrists mind frame all of us have been programmed with from birth!
