Spring 2024- Standing in the lobby just wanting to order a pop and no one would ring me out. Manager won't even make eye contact with you even though you are standing at the corner by the register & he is right there. Thanks for making me take my own order and pretending like I am invisible just because you have 4 self service kiosks. I just wanted my cup quicker than what the kiosk got me.
Again - Feb. 2025 such poor service. Waiting for my food ... Manager in red shirt, super apologetic & offering to bring it to me. I get it & I am missing the bacon/chives on my potato. Got just cheese. Head back up & the manager with the glasses & grey shirt: told him I was missing toppings, specifically bacon & chives. "well did you get your potato?" Yes. "So what... You want bacon?" Yes. Grabs the bacon & looks so annoyed - his non verbals were poor. Brings me 3 full slices & says "is that how you want it?" Usually it is like small chunks. So he says "so, you want us to break it up for you?" I stated - "well do whatever you normally do" & he says they rip it up with their hands. He gave me my bacon & that man never looked so inconvenienced in his life & his attitude was worse after he had to ask the cook to tear the bacon. THEN teenagers get off, sit next to us with their cellphones blaring & they are like video chatting someone & just so dang loud... My head actually hurt. & I am someone well adapted to loud kids...
Read moreSo our construction crew has been in here 3 times since they have opened. Our first on the day of their grand opening went pretty smooth. It seems like this wendys doubled down on the self service for their Lobby. They have about 6 self serve checkouts in the lobby and limited amount of staff working the register. I felt like the self checkout were more of inconvenience for me. Just seemed a little bit glitchy. The men's bathroom had water on the toilet seat and on the floor on the opening day. Not a huge deal. My 2nd visit I messed up on my self checkout order and wound up having to stand in line anyways after already having spent 5 mins at the self checkout. On the 3rd visit after spending the time to find parking I got to the Lobby and the lobby was closed. Which was a huge inconvenience, since we don't have restrooms at our jobsites. All in all I would pass this wendys up for a little while longer and just hit up culver's which has night and day better...
Read moreI recently visited this Wendy's location and had a mixed experience. The food was good, and the service was friendly and efficient, so kudos to the staff for that! However, I was very disappointed to find that they apparently do not accept mobile tap-to-pay (like Google Pay or Apple Pay) in the drive-thru. I could clearly see the POS terminal was equipped for tap payments from my car, but the functionality seemed disabled or they refused to use it. The staff informed me that mobile tap-to-pay is only accepted inside the restaurant. This means if you want to pay with your phone, you have to park your car and go inside. I don't usually carry my physical credit cards with me, and in this day and age, it's incredibly frustrating to encounter this. It truly feels like going back to the year 2020.
