Tapuat — Restaurant in Sister Bay

I was a loyal Tapuat customer since they first began selling kombucha. No more! I bought several bottles over the course of a few months that were just downright terrible. As in, so far gone they were the worst kombucha I'd ever tasted. Something was done VERY wrong with production, and clearly it's a repeat issue, as I kept trying again but same result - the kombucha was always flat, syrupy thick, super super sweet, and acidic tart, all at the same time. Yuck. So, I tried to contact them. Called and called, emailed, reached out on social media, left messages and messages - after all that, I got ONE reply, via social media comment, that "we do respond to any contact" (yet they don't), and when I replied back... they went quiet. So, if you have an issue, they will ignore you completely and thoroughly. All methods of contact are a dead end. This company does not care in the least about making a good product and having happy customers. I will never ever buy their products again, and will tell everyone else to avoid...

My wife has been adoring the blueberry for so long. She has tried maybe 20 other flavors and brands and she has only liked your brand, and specifically the blueberry! We first found your brand at Pick n Save but then they switched brands! The ones they changed to all had added sugar, which she doesn’t want. And the flavors didn’t taste good to her. Then we found your brand at Festival foods. But a mere month later, they were gone! Then we tried Walmart, no dice. Then we tried Piggly Wiggly, and they had it! For only a few months and now they’re changing! The ones they’re changing to have 16-24 grams of added sugar. We are so frustrated and I’ll be seeking online to find a way to buy your brand. I've been buying this kombucha in MN for the past few months. The bottles are very hit and miss, but when it's good it's really good. Quality consistency is definitely the problem here, and for the price it's just not worth risking a bad bottle. The bad bottles will gush foam and make a huge mess, and those bottles tend to be very acetic tasting, almost to the point of vinegar. It's a shame because my first impression of these...
