A year ago we were just checking the store out, a sciatic nerve issue had left me in constant pain for a year, doctors, chiropractor, stretching, no relief, so while my wife was looking around i was taking a break, sitting near the shoes.

Gretchen approached me asked if I was looking for some shoes, I must admit I was short with her. I told her about my flat feet, my nerve issue, and that I was in severe pain at the moment. Gretchen knelt next to me and listened, asked questions and said she might have something that would help.

I was skeptical, but she was kind, she had me try a hoka one one, I put them on and stood up. For the first time in as long as I remember there was no pain. The relief was so great, I began to weep with relief and joy.

To say my life changed in that moment is an understatement, it did. Because she paused enough to listen, and was kind and offered what was right.

I wear them all the time, as well as the Hoka slide. No more sciatic pain.

We returned on our vacation this year to say thank you. Gretchen was not in, but Klara, also a wonderful staff person, seems to be the norm, encouraged me to right a review.

AMAZING! Friendly and DOG friendly! Great atmosphere! My fiance and I went in briefly today. After talking with the gal (unfortunately I don't remember her name) about how much we loved the pottery mug with a paw it because we love dogs. The topic of bringing dogs into the store came up (as we had left ours in the car) and she encouraged us to bring our dog in! He had so much fun! I cannot express how wonderful the staff is at this business. This may be one of the best parts of our trip! I was first overwhelmed when I walked in because there was so much I loved. A dog named Maple greeted me and that started my experience in this unique store. I being a dog lover felt right at home. Then I was greeted and was given a tour and told to bring in my wild labrador into the store where he made friends and had a blast while I was felt like Julia Roberts in the movie "Pretty Woman."
