DQ Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Sisters

I wrote and sent this review to DQ on September 24. I got a response from a customer service representative saying it was sent to the franchise owner, I asked to please be contacted and they never did contact me. I then sent another message to the DQ customer service agent and she assured me the owners received the message and I reiterated that I want to be contacted. They never contacted me so I thought I would share my experience here since they forfeit the opportunity to make things right.

I work in Sisters and went to the new DQ for the first time. I was with my family so we decided to go thru the drive thru and get a quick bite. I wanted to order the pulled pork, but they were out. We did order 2 sandwiches and a order of chicken nuggets. 20 minutes later a young man finally brought our food out to our waiting car (no joke, they had us pull forward and we want listed 20 min) Instead of cordially handing the bag to my husband, he walked up to the car and without stopping plopped the bag into his out-stretched hand. Before he could get a good hold on the bag it fell out of his hand to the ground. The bag split open, none of the food touched the ground, but the bag was a jumbled mess. He picked up the bag irritated handed it to my husband and no offer was made to make sure we were satisfied or to re-bag our food. We drove away shaking our head. When we opened up our sandwiches a mile down the road I literally gagged when I opened my sandwich. It was a turkey BLT, the lettuce was old and wilted and the bacon was limp. I could not eat it. My husband got the Swiss mushroom hamburger. This really made me gag. There was at least 1/8 of cup of mayo on the sandwich and maybe 4 small mushrooms. I couldn't even find the meat. I tried to scrap off the mayo, but it was so gross I gave up and threw both sandwiches away. We were to far away to go back and honestly I woke up my sleeping 1 yr old with my gagging.

I love the blizzards, but I will never buy...

Employees attitude is what brings down reviews for me. The lady taking the order was at first friendly. I ordered a chicken strip basket, I asked to buy an extra side of gravy. She turned and ask the girl at the window if they had enough, the girl informed her they didnt have any at all because they burned it. When I changed my order from 6piece to 4 she then had an attitude. You could hear the people in the back mocking us. So I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with mayo and ketchup only. She said she cant figure out how to put ketchup on it so I told her I would do it we got our food, still talking about us in the back. I opened my sandwich to put ketchup on it. They had put a little circle of mayo on it. I asked my daughter to ask them for mayo, I dont like the packet stuff. They wouldn't give it to her. My daughters toast was burned on one side, the other side didnt touch a stove top. The fries were barely cooked. We were going to order pretzels to go but we dont want to deal with all this. Not from around here but unless you're getting ice cream wouldn't recommend it. And if they make a mistake dont ask them to correct it. Maybe the one adult working should show the teenage girls and boy how to act instead...

If I could give negative stars I would because they dont even deserve 1 star. I live in sisters and was picking up lunch for my father and you could tell they were not that busy and it was after normal lunch time for people around 1250, I first had to wait a long time for my order to be taken then when finally helped I simply ordered 1 meal, 2 blizzards and a kids ice cream cone with a cup for my neice, when pulling up to the window I was ignored and had to wait well over 5 minutes for someone to finally take my money and get my food, when I got handed everything I asked for an extra spoon for the Ice cream cone and the women whom I believe is the owner rudely asked if that was it and when I said yes replied k bye and practically slammed the window door. I was not impatient at all through all the waiting and felt the rudeness and impatience with customers was unessecary. As a local in sisters we dont often eat fast food but it was always a nice quick stop in but I will not be returning and they have lost a lot of customers because I am telling everyone of this bad incident which I believe is unacceptable behavior for a supposed...
