My boyfriend and I were both craving burgers after a long hike near the sisters and we found this place and decided to go. Upon entry it had a good atmosphere and we were seated quickly. To start, we were sat at a table directly next to the air vent blasting cold air when it was 40-50 degrees outside. We were pretty bundled up already so we decided to deal with it. On top of that we were sat at a half booth half chair table and the booth was too tall for the table so I was looking down at my boyfriend and couldn't move my legs at all without kneeing the table. Within 5-10 minutes a server walked up, introduced herself then proceeded to say "oh Im sorry your server will actually be Lucas" and walked away. We waited another 10-20 minutes before he came by. After having plenty of time to look through the menu with lots of different choices we both decided to get something other than burgers. We put in our orders and got our appetizer pretty quickly. We had maybe taken two bites of the potatoes chips (which were delicious) before they brought us our entrees. I got a bit worried because when food comes out that quickly it usually means not much cooking went into it, just reheating. I had gotten Nana's Chicken pot pie after seeing another patron eating it across the room, and my boyfriend got the Prime Rib French Dip. The pot pie was definitely pre made as the pastry that comes on top of it wasn't flaky at all. They gave me a spoon to eat it with but the pastry was so chewy I had to use a fork and knife instead. The chicken was overcooked and chewy, and there was practically no filling. I was pretty disappointed that the freezer pot pies I have at home are better than what I got. The Prime Rib French dip wasn't bad, but my boyfriend said the meat could've been better. Also it comes with horseradish, but we couldn't taste it at all. Lucas never once came back to check on us, so my boyfriend had to grab him as he was walking around filling the silverware containers to ask for more horseradish. Then we had to search out for him again to get another beer. My boyfriend asked for another drink and Lucas said sure and tried to run off without giving me a chance to also ask for another since mine was empty. Once again, we had to go look for him because we were done with our food and wanted to get the check. Once he brought the check he was back within seconds to charge my credit card. We wanted to finish our drinks and we were in the middle of a conversation when he came back within another minute to get the signed check with the tip. I said "Im sorry I haven't gotten a chance to fill it out yet", and he turns to me and says "well Im at the end of my shift Im trying to leave" and walks away. We were stunned that he was trying to push us out like that, and it was only 8pm. Overall, we were very disappointed with the expensive reheated food and horrible service. Only reason Im not giving one star was because the potato chips and beers...

The food was basic. We had a salad, wings, and potato skins on a trip to Dee Wright Observatory. The problem? The salad was served on a hot plate (ick; it wilted in minutes and was nasty). The wings were pretty good. The potato skins could have used more seasoning and some green onions or something to liven them up. They were a bit greasy.

The atmosphere is nice - sort of a western town vibe. Uncomfortable seating at both tables (where we were first sat) and in booths (where we asked to be moved to). And the move is the real problem. When we visited, the restaurant was not busy -- not by a long shot. We asked the host to seat us in a booth. They refused (we were a party of two, and apparently the only open booth was for parties of up to six). There were plenty of tables open, mind you, that could accommodate large parties. The host was rude in denying our request, so we asked the server to move us. She was happy to accommodate.

The second server we had was...inattentive at best. She never checked on us once she served our drinks or after the food runner brought out the meal. Ugh. For $50/two guests, this is not the level of service I expect. We aren't high maintenance, but we do like our sodas refilled once during a meal.

Suffice to say...we won't be giving the Sisters Saloon & Ranch Grill a second chance. Which is a bummer, because we wanted very much to enjoy it and would have gone there regularly on our trips to...

First off I would like to start this review with I have been to this restaurant four times before this visit. The previous visits were good except one. This makes visit number five I live in a different city so I have to drive almost an hour to get to this restaurant. I like the drive and the small town of sisters and sister saloon is my favorite place to eat. We had a family member come in from out of town and we took her to sister's saloon and ranch grill for dinner. I have to say what a big disappointment The restaurant let us down. We all ordered steak for dinner The steaks were not cooked as we asked and the scoop of mashed potatoes on all three plates were ice cold along with the vegetables. So we had warm steak with ice cold vegetables. If I hadn't had family from out of town with us I would have overlooked this and gave it five stars across the board I did only deduct one star as out of the five times I have eaten here three were good and two were not so good so this gives you an average when dining here I am still going to dine here because I love the staff and overall the food is good this is my honest opinion please give this place a try they do have great food here and the dessert was worth driving even further for just...

A BIG shout out to Aaron and Ashley Okura, owners of the Sisters Saloon & Ranch Grill, for hosting the Sisters High School 20 year reunion last weekend! A very special thank you to Chris Braumann who helped coordinate with us and make our evening "off the hook!" Or as he liked to say during the planning process, ready for the nineties!!! "Party on Wayne, Party on Garth!" Not only did they work with us on the planning of this reunion for over a year, but every time we needed to adjust plans along the way they were extremely flexible and accommodating. They were so EASY to work with and the history of the Sisters Saloon provided a very special atmosphere for our group of over 75 people to have that special trip down memory lane! They were beyond generous in working with our limited budget to make this a very SPECIAL evening and even donated some extra food for our hungry bunch and some of their RAD merch for our raffle. PLEASED is an understatement. Thank you Sisters Saloon & Ranch Grill If you are looking for an outstanding venue for your event - this is the place and these are the people to work with! Chris Braumann and I just had to take a moment during the evening to celebrate! #sisterssaloon #99outlawmemories

+1 good reuse of historical building from 1912. Decor etc. +3 (if I could give infinity n beyond I would) great food selection. Supporting local community with their ingredients. Also great food that gives donations to the community +1 cleanliness and updated facilities. +1 very helpful, respectful n great service staff +1 events. Somehow make that more broadcast for us travelers as I'd come in just for sunday brunch /and/or cards etc. Community plus a draw for us tourists +2 & -4 live music. I don't know what the issue and/or reason for the live music to be singing testing so much. Just make it never happen again. Maybe have the artist n sound people practice some other time. It took away from the environment enough the company either needs to get better or not do live music. I was visiting the area for the nearby mountaineering. I would've bought merchandise because you support the local community; however, I wanted to be out of earshot from the horrendous "testing" song of the live music so I didn't as well as didn't do dessert. Speaking of dessert why do only the cookies support the local community? Please expand that part of the menu after taking care of the live music.

Delicious! We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. And were brought menus, and waters. This is a historic building, with decor to match the history. There are photos lining the dining room of old photos of Sisters. Their bar has a few slot machines for entertainment. I have never seen pork rinds on a restaurant menu before, and they were delicious! They were still cracking when they were brought out to the table. I ordered the Bison Burger - I love Bison burgers and you cant get them many places. It was cooked to perfection, the best flavor and so juicy. I added cheese and mustard to it and it was excellent. My boyfriend got the grilled cheese with bacon - it came out oozing with different cheeses. It was delicious, perfectly toasted and the bacon added a great flavor to the sandwich. Their fries are cut in house and we're so good. We were too stuffed for dessert but it sounded amazing. Everything was reasonably priced and our bill (before purchasing merch) was underrated $50 for our two meals, apps & drinks.
