On December 4th I ordered two pizzas totaling $39.69. I was given an estimated delivery time of an hour. The pizzas didn't arrive until two hours later. They were cold and they were incorrect. I do not eat meat, and they were covered with bacon. I couldn't even eat them. When I called to complain they offered to remake the food OR give me a credit. Since it had already been so long I chose the credit. I get it, mistakes totally happen. Today, I called to redeem my credit and the person on the phone said that the credit was not coming up. I offered her my husband's phone number, but she said that it wouldn't make a difference and it should just be on the address. She said that she would just have the manager take care of the order totaling $17. I thought whatever, its not the full $39 but I'll take it. I received a return phone call from a very rude man, claiming to be or acting as the manager. He said that "they can't just send me a free pizza" and "for that you have to drive over here an pick it up". He treated me as if I was lying and was very rude about it. I may have lost my cool at this point and said "what you mean to tell me is that I have to drive there to pick this up in the snow, because you don't have a record of your mistake?". So, the problem wasn't that they couldn't deliver a complementary pizza, it was that they didn't want to. The guy just started to talk over me and repeat my order. I told him to cancel it and there was no way I was ordering there again. He responded with "fine by me, not my money" and hung up. I called back for the manager's name. I was immediately placed on hold for a very long time. I hung up and called back. Again, I asked just for the manager's name. The same rude guy came to the phone and said that the manager's name was "Heather". He said that Heather was the manager and she wasn't there, but refused to give his name. As someone who managed a pizzeria throughout college, the guy sounded like a disgruntled driver who didn't want to deliver an order because he wouldn't get a tip or bonus (although I would have tipped cash). To top it all off I had my husband call from his phone and low and behold the credit was there all along. I called back and a very apologetic manager answered (I am guessing he just got in for his shift?). He was the manager that originally issued the credit and made things right. I was totally rude to him and I feel bad (If you're reading this: I'm sorry guy, your employee is totally the worst). My pizza is on its way now, but after I use the rest of my credit I am not sure I will continue to order from this establishment. I will say this, the weather is really, really bad today. I am sure they are slammed and tensions are high. That is never a reason to be rude...
Read moreI have gone to this Marco's for years. The pizza has always been excellent. Yet recently the wings have been switched to cardboard boxes instead of plastic containers. I think the is the reason why they dry out before they even leave the store. Regardless, yesterday I bought a pizza and some wings. I asked for all the little fixings and the person helping looked like she was tired of me already. You could not see a drop of sauce on these wings when I looked at them in the car. When Iwent back in to ask the manager for extra sauce she said "uh hmmm.. that's going to be extra" as if she had made that up on the spot. I said the wings are dry. She said that's just how they do it. That's how Marco's does it yall. Dry wings. I could see arguing with this spiteful little woman wasnt getting me anywhere so I left. There was about 2 tablespoons of sauce to speak of and all of it was at the bottom. Not enough to recoat the wings. They were the blandest, gummiest wings I've ever had from Marco's. If I wanted dry, flavorless wings I'd save my self 10 bucks by going to walmart. I'm definitely not getting wings from here anymore. I dunno if I will even get pizza. Why not just make this stuff myself when the manager refuses to serve it properly? I hope you are proud of yourself girl. You should know one thing: when it's wrong, make it right. That's how a MANAGER does it. I will be going to a place that values my satisfaction over the self satisfying feeling of telling me you wont fix my order. I am extremely disappointed by the disorganized atmosphere and self righteous attitude yall have created in this store. It's a shame how a bad manager can spoil the...
Read moreFirst, the food was really good, the people working were ok. The big issue is when you order in line for a pick up and you get the time to be there, things should work. First, the tal I'm here button so they can bring it the did, didn't work, so I went inside. ( That really didn't bother me too much, just wanted you to know). Now, the big issue is when you order in line and it tells you a time to be there and it will be ready, needs to be close to correct!! Not arrive on time then go inside and wait another 20 minutes before the food comes out. There were several other waiting as well. Now, the staff was busy and working hard, this is not this fault, it is the fault of the on line ordering system that needs reset to be closer to the flow of business at the time you order. This needs fixed very quickly to be a lot...
