I just want to make it clear that my review of this place is mainly based off service rather than the food. For the food I would give it about a 2-3 star rating. This would’ve been my 2nd time placing a take out order at this place but this time much like the first I was not greeted nor did I feel welcome upon entering. At this point in society that is the least of my concern as long as I am waited on and walk out the door with my food in hand. I stood behind 3 other women in line who I was unsure if they had placed orders or not, but the host/server was more than aware that she had taken those people orders and still proceeded to not greet me nor ask me did I need any help. I stood there for about 5-7 minutes until an older gentleman walked in who clearly dines in there frequently. She greeted him with a big smile and asked him where he would like to be seated. He told told her (the server/host whose name I do not know) that he was going to order take out. She guided him to the FRONT of the counter where he was handed a menu and told he could place his order. Of course I stepped in and let her know that I had been waiting and I was not greeted & she faintly apologize as if she never saw me and my big red jacket holding a 2 year old just standing there. Low and behold they didn’t have what I wanted so I ended up leaving. What I would like for ALL these restaurants and people who work in these places to know, is that you NEVER know who you are talking to or who you are getting ready to serve. You don’t know the influence someone carries nor what types of companies they work for. Regardless of any of those things ALL people who walk in to your establishment should be treated fairly and with respect unless they are unruly & need to be asked to leave. This was my last time walking in the doors of this establishment but I hope you all get it together for your own sake because you could miss out on great business by ignoring, certain people & treating others as if they are...
Read moreI went to this restaurant because I really love Phó and have seen this restaurant in passing. I ordered shrimp rolls and a small Bac deit pho. As I was sitting at the table waiting for my food I noticed that there was a table where other patrons had obviously finished eating. On the table was the toppings that come with most or possibly all the Phó soups (sprouts, peppers and fresh basil). As the employee cleaned the table off i noticed that he did not touch the plate with the sprout pepper set up. In my inquisitive mind I was wondering (hey I'm about to get Phó i hope he doesnt bring those used sprouts to me). I watched him the whole time as he politely grabs the dirty used plate takes it over to my Phó dish and brings it back to me. He was about to set it down I explained to him how I just watched him take that plate off the table and try to give it to me. He said "oh I'm sorry" as if he didnt know that he had done that. He did it with such ease I wonder how many times he has practiced this before. A gentlemen patron at another table witnessed the whole act and was equally disgusted. He left his un eaten rice I wonder will they be serving that to the next unsuspecting victim. In conclusion, I paid for the shrimp rolls im which he gave me plenty of attitude and was snatching my card out of my hand. (now wishing that I didnt pay for any of it) it was probably from someone else's uneaten portions. This place practices unsanitary, unprofessional ethics. I Will never be visiting again and I will probably be followimg up with the health department to make sure that the rest of the food...
Read moreWith the weather ruining my plans to smoke some chicken I decide to go out and get some dinner instead. Hadn’t been to Pho Bistro in a while and I’ve never had a bad experience over 9 yrs. Today I decide to try something new. Change my usual #1 to #4 Grilled pork Spring roll; went for the dinner plate #56 Spicy Stir Fried Shrimp, comes with white rice and fried egg rolls; and to wash it down with the usual Thai Tea w/o bolba. The Spring roll was recommended and it was a good recommendation, the grilled pork pieces were of decent size, soften noodles and the fresh flavor of lemongrass and fresh vegetables. Can’t forget dunking it in that peanut sauce just 🤌🏼. The Spicy Shrimp stir fry was delicious, not hot but you can taste a hint of heat. There’s hot sauce on the table for the fire breathers and I’m sure they can bring you some sweet heat like the sauce served with the egg rolls which were great. Similar to my heritage food of lumpia of the Filipino cuisine. Not a lot of veggies loaded with meat, thin and fried to a delicious crispy exterior and a steamy inside. Back to the Stir Fry, shrimp was cooked perfectly not over cooked and tough. The veggies, cooked to a tender crispy texture, not soggy, broccoli, cauliflower, onions and mushrooms. Definitely can tell it’s fresh. Sauce was delicious added a little spice to it. It’s a large restaurant with a small operation so it may seem to take longer than other places especially if there is a large volume of customers. It’s worth the wait or...
