Looking to have a late and quick dinner we decided on Subway. Reliable and fresh. Not seeing an open hours listed on the door or window. Wasn't looking either, the young lady at the counter kind of sneered. Four other employees did not even greet us. They took our order and were nice during that, checked us out. No issues. Went to sit down and the young lady gets our attention and says,"You know we close at 8 o'clock?" We walked in at 7:45 and by the time we got our food and checked out it was 7:52. I looked at my phone when she reminded me that they close at 8. So. We sit down and eat. We were in a hurry anyway but at 8 one of the other gentlemen behind the counter said, "Eat up fellas, we close at 8." I've been in the service industry and customer service like this is unnecessary. If you are open until a certain time, you serve until that time and have an open dining room for your customers to eat until they are done and not rushed because of your closing time.
