Not sure if owners are different because I haven’t been there in about 2 yrs but finally went back because by little girl wanted Chinese food. I ordered fried rice and white meat general tso and it came to almost $18. I was surprised at the price so I asked young lady at the front why I was paying so much because I don’t remember prices being that high. One of the cooks came over to counter and proceeded to speak their language while looking at me and laughing. I thought this was so rude and disrespectful so I said to him please don’t do that. I was told my young lady at the front to ‘ calm down’. My first instinct was to walk out because I knew u was being ripped off but to add disrespect to it was too much. I still bought the food because according to girl at front it was the fact that I ordered white meat y it cost so much more. Well... it was white flour not white meat. Taste was ok but I doubt there was n e chicken in that general tso. All flour. Complete waste of money. Couldn’t even eat it. Service was absolutely poor. Stayed away two yrs n now I’ll stay...
Read moreI have never been disappointed by China Delight until now. I thought I would try something different (I usually get the shrimp & broccoli or shrimp & mixed vegetables- both always very good) and order the Shrimp Mei Fun. This was nothing but angel hair spaghetti with a few slivers of carrot, 2-3 chunks of egg, few strands of a greenish vegetable and my shrimp - NO FLAVOR whatsoever. Noodles tasted like angel hair pasta not like rice noodles. I had to put on so much soy sauce just to give it a flavor. This meal would be rated 1 star but China Delight definitely gets a 4 star rating because I am typically very happy with my meals there.
My egg roll was very good - crisp on the outside, moist on the inside.
My husband got vegetable egg foo young and said it was very good - could have used alittle more...

They are one of the better places in Smyrna I give them that but that's really not saying much when the food lacks flavor and a lot of dishes just taste about the same. A 12 dollar meal shouldn't taste like a 5 dollar one. Their dishes consist of a lot of rice and noodles (which is cheap) but the meat aspect (the more expensive) like Chicken, beef, shrimp, or pork is usually very scarce. I feel like they water down their dishes this way and overcharge customers for them. If you want Chinese food this IS indeed the better place to get it from but it's a rather forgettable experience. I usually venture to this place every 3 or 4 months or so. Just not...
