I was with my wife and parent in laws and we were hungry after a day of fishing. My in-laws recommended Bob's barbecue instead of my original suggestion of Nick's barbecue. This was my first time at Bob's. Young lady at the register was nice and polite and took our orders. The food was ready pretty quickly maybe less than 10 minutes. Once I got the food i moticed it was room temp maybe even slightly cooler, almost as if the food had been sitting there for awhile. The tri-tater was new to me and I really enjoyed it asides from being slightly cold. The pork was good but a little on the dry side and like the majority of my food slightly cold. We also ordered the barbecue nachos without to share among our group. This was the one food item I truly did not like. The cheese had a weird taste, and the beans that were in the dish were more than likely canned beans. The building itself is small and cant support too many dine ins but was clean with a small tv and small tables to fit 3 or 4 people. There was a drain grate that was loose that i tripped on when i got up to grab a straw. I like to support small businesses and as this was my first time visiting this establishment I went with a 3 star rating as I intend to visit again to try it at least once more and make necessary adjustments to my review for fairness sake. I don't live too far from there so should be...
Read moreIt seems here lately unless you are a regular of Bob's that not only is the service extremely slow, the wait staff sometimes will come and look at you many times before they even acknowledge your there and half the time they're out of food well before they close. More and more the parking lot gets more empty and often it looks like the place itself is closed.
what used to be a go-to place for barbecue food and particularly their loaded potatoes is one that you just have to be either a regular or luck out and get something early on when they open. It is one establishment that is pretty well known to the regulars but if you're looking at it from the road or just driving by is not very clear what it is.
frankly based on the way that the staff doesn't care and the lack of being able to stock food that they advertise selling it's no wonder that they are not doing well with business and as the owner of this facility you see pictures of them all over the wall but you don't see him so if he is going out of business so be it I don't think anybody would notice because they don't have nearly anything what they advertise.
there is no rating less than one star so if there were there I would definitely give them a zero or a negative one rating. Extremely dissatisfied and I'm done going...
Read moreIf I could give it 0 stars I would. I have been wanting to go there for a year now and every time I drove by it was closed. Today it was finally opened so I was super excited. Walked up to the door and felt locked so I started to leave and kid comes out and says they were open just the door sticks. So we go in to look around and place was being run by like 3 or 4 high school kids. They were goofing around and not paying attention to our order. My boyfriend wanted the beef platter. Was told they didn't have any. So he ordered the ham platter and I got the pork platter and we ordered loaded fries to share. Well..... what we got was the most nasty food I have EVER been served in my life. The tater tot things were still frozen, the sour cream and Cole slaw were spoiled, the ham was water logged and my pork looked and tasted like it was microwaved and still cold. Took us like 3 minutes to get the attention of the kids working there because they were laughing and screaming in the back. Finally we demanded our money back and they were very rude about it. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER be back. And I won't recommend this place to my...
