I will never understand the love for this place. As someone who eats at A LOT of pizzerias all around the country…this place is just not good.
I’m obviously in the minority, and while usually that would make me reconsider my stance, in this case it makes me think the people of Smyrna just have no idea what great pizza is.
This is barely pizza. It’s almost cake with sauce and cheese. These pizzas are so thick and heavy you could probably knock a grown man out by hitting him over the head with one. Their pies are just absolute bread bombs. There is so much fluff and bread that it’s actually unpleasant to eat.
I just…don’t get it. I want to support small, local pizzerias but this pizza just sucks man. It’s bad. I’m happy for whoever likes it, but I personally think it’s absolutely bottom tier. I’d take domino’s over this place.
They shut down in ATL and I think it’s because the people in the city have been exposed to actual good pizza and they couldn’t cut it. With places like Antico, Ruby’s, and Syracusa’s near Smyrna I honestly see the Smyrna location meeting the same fate soon enough.
Sidenote: from what I understand, they have started offloading extra deliveries onto DoorDash and other delivery apps. Any pizza spot that chooses this method over hiring more drivers in-house does NOT deserve your support. These apps have zero standards for drivers. I have already seen multiple instances of the owner replying to bad delivery reviews with “well, the apps have different delivery standards.”
Uh. Yeah man. They do. By saying that, you are not only acknowledging that fact, you are saying you are fine with it.
That’s like going “well I made the food correctly, then I handed it to a homeless man outside and gave him your address. I’m not sure what you want me to do. Once I gave your pizza to the homeless man it was beyond...
Read moreNew: We moved out of the area a few years ago, but were back at the Cobb Galleria for a convention (AWA) this past weekend and needed to feed some guests and con crew lunch without having to spend a fortune or drive anywhere...DaVinci's went way above and beyond what I was expecting. I called them before ordering online to make sure they'd be able to get there in the timeframe I needed, and we discussed where at the CGC the driver would need to go to meet us. Put the order in, let the person who was going to go out and meet the driver know when they needed to go outside, and went back to doing con stuff. I ended up getting a couple calls back with updates, and then the driver also called to let me know he was almost there so I could send the designated pizza-fetcher out. They arrived right around the estimated time on the order, which was surprising considering how crowded the area around the CGC/RW was. The pizzas were still as great as I remembered them being, and they didn't last long! The paper plates they included were also a bit of a lifesaver, because I'd completely forgotten about getting any, so it let us eat immediately rather than having to go on a hunt for some. We've already decided that if pizza is an option next year (we sometimes have to work around dietary restrictions), we already know where it's going to come from. Thanks for making lunch the least stressful part of my Saturday! :)
Old: We lucked out and found this place not long after we moved to the area. It's a little pricey, but also far better than the...

My family and I have been fans of this business for years. Since they first started promoting their Smyrna location with the pizza and 2liter specials in my old complex. We moved from the area, but we were hooked on the pizza. Since then, they became a more pricey choice of pizza but the quality and customer service were always present, so we rolled with the increases over the years. We would frequent the midtown location on game and karaoke nights as a family and simply indulge. However, I must say the quality of food has slipped since they closed the Midtown location. I visited the only location in Smyrna, and I was highly disappointed. I ordered two small pizzas and wings. The wings were great, but both pizzas were dry and didn't seem freshly made per the order. Both pizzas lack sauce, cheese and taste, peperoni was too salty...which I'm not used to from this place. I stay near the airport so this was a real hike for me to visit for dinner...I regret not requesting a remake, but I was exhausted from the day. I hope this guys revive things back to the way they were and keep the consistency. Seems like it's hit or miss when getting fresh, quality food. Customer service is always friendly and above the bar, but food just doesn't match the atmosphere anymore. For the prices, I don't think good food & customer service are too...
