This was my go-to spot, but since my last encounter, I've switched over to the Sandy Springs location. I walked into place an order for the office and although there were three young ladies in the front, no one greeted me whatsoever. I spoke to the young lady closest to me, with just a simple "hey", nothing was said. I didn't know if I was invisible or if the employees were in a zone. Nevertheless, I proceeded to order, as I was telling the young lady my order, another woman walked in, a middle-aged Caucasian woman and a greeting as loud as the school intercom was presented to her. This did not sit well with me at all, instead of speaking to the employees about my experience, I left without making a purchase and placed a call when I got home asking for the owner to call. Upon speaking to the owner, she proceeded to tell me that the young woman to whom I spoke to and did not speak back was new, it was her second or third day. All of which she said was irrelevant because there are toddlers who have been taught to return a greeting when greeted. As for the tenured employees, no explanation was provided as to why when an African American woman walked in, she was not greeted but when a Caucasian woman walked in, she was greeted happily. The service is usually okay at this location, but not "outstanding" compared to other locations. I do believe the Kennesaw location is leading in customer service followed by the Sandy Springs location. I simply won't be returning but I do wish the business and all employees the absolute...
Read moreI have come to the Atlanta Rd location a few times and had not previously had an issue. This time there was someone that was training. He was very professional but needed to ask another team member a pricing question. She came out and was not just unfriendly but refused to say hello or greet me at all. She just started asking "what flavor do you want and what size do you want."I said hello to her and when she didn't reply I asked her if she usually greets customers. She scoffed and said I just came out here because he asked me to, as if that was a valid reason to refuse to greet me. I said ok. It was rude and my expectation as a customer is to be treated with the same kindness and respect that other customers were treated with. I will still patronize Nothing Bundt Cake but not...
Read moreToday is my daughter’s birthday, and i stopped in to get her a cake to surprise her with when she came home from school. Upon walking in the associate had his back turned and didnt acknowledge me walking in, then i started to look at the cake flavors in the case and when i looked up he was just standing at the register, still no greeting. So I just told him the flavor that i wanted and pointed to the size I wanted. The associate then very rudely says, “I cant see what u pointing at which one is it?” Being that it was my first time here, i felt like he was very unhelpful and very rude and i do not appreciate it at all. Ive been in customer service for 20 years, and that is not how you talk to or treat paying customers. I will...
