The captain ds company is apparently not concerned with its customers. This spring about 3 weeks ago from this date we went into Captain D's in Snellville Georgia about 4 o'clock in the afternoon and ordered our food. We were looking forward to their fish because generally it's pretty good. After 30 minutes waiting for our order to come up I went to the front and asked the person what's going on how come its taking so long. She said we're out of fish and we're cooking it now. I kept seeing the drive in getting 20 piece orders and more consistently. After a few more minutes I came back up to the counter and asked for a refund by now at least 45 minutes ago on by and I was not very happy. They gave me my money back and 5 to 6 other people and 3 people coming in from the parking lot and we told them what was going on and a turnaround left. I called her corporate office in nashville tennessee and 4 * left messages. The fifth time I finally start going around extensions in gotta joe minnesota oh don't worry I'll get you to be regional director. He never called me back. The bottom line is captain d's doesn't care about your customers. By the way my wife and I drove about 20 minutes to another fish place long john silver and got a great meal from them. Still waiting 4 the district...
Read moreI placed an online order through their corporate website for the correct location in Snellville, just as I have numerous times before. I arrived at the scheduled pickup time as per my order details that confirmed my payment and acceptance of order. The location was closed, I’m assuming in celebration of Juneteenth as the date was 6/20 the Monday after the holiday.
I’m not complaining about the location, I go here regularly as the food and the staff are great. My issue is with my money, this is the second time I have payed prior to pickup and the location has been closed upon arrival. I have yet to receive any communication from the local store nor corporate, and definitely haven’t received any kind of refund. The ordering system should not be able to accept orders if a restaurant is closed or will be closing early during normal operating business hours. Google also claimed the store was open and you could place an online order for pickup through them as well.
Maybe it is my fault for ordering yet once again, but there’s no maybe that my bank account misses my money, and I was hungry. Just saying!
Show me the money...
Read moreSo what started out as disastrous actually ended up being great thanks to the manager Juma. When I first drove up through the drive thru, the cashier was in such an impatient mood that I had to repeat my order several times. This led me to come in where I several other people standing in line awaited me. I drove all the way home without placing an order. I called to speak to the manager who actually answered the phone. Aside from him asking me very nicely to return and his fantastic listening skills was the compassion that he verbalized towards the cashier in the young man's defense. He said "You know they're young and they're missing patience. They have to be shown." Really?! Yup. That's what actually made me return. I thought to myself if this guy could be equally as kind and understanding to me and my frustration as he is to this young man's immaturity and inexperience, then I better get on board and be an example as well. It's many person like Juma who will make actually make America great again. Also when I returned, there were two other women who complimented Juma's cook and his front counter cashier....
