Stopped in here this afternoon for a late lunch. My partner and daughter had been here before under the previous name/owner. However, Heidi and the team did not disappoint. Between the three of us, we got the philly cheesesteak, the superdooper, and the beast with added pork. Sides we got the macaroni salad, potato salad, and the house tomato pesto soup. All in all, it was delicious, fresh, and great value for money. We left with a further pint of the soup it was that good. Triple chocolate cake was on point, super rich and thiicccc. The presentation suited the dishes, and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff were lovely, the place was clean, well presented, and rocking a solid 90s playlist in the background. We will be back.

Can't say enough about Christa's. Everything about this place is top notch. The service. The food. The atmosphere. Just a great local place to enjoy good food and great service. Had the Turcado Sandwich with the Mac Salad. The sandwich was great. Good amount of turkey with good balance of lettuce, tomato and avocado. The mac salad was a nice addition on the side. Not too dry but nice taste of dill to balance things out. Chased it with an amazing blood mary. That was a meal in itself. Spicy with bacon, celery, pickles and peperccini. Can't say enough about the service here. You feel like family when you're here! Thank you Christa's for keeping the bar high!!

The service is prompt and wonderful but the food is even better. A lavish assortment of charcuterie boards and sandwiches to choose from in this shabby chic little bistro. There is a small spice board provided on each table with salt, pepper, oregano, and red chili flakes to season the food... But you won't need it. The food here is flavorful, beautifully plated, and extraordinarily thought out. The cocktails are absolutely inspired, French 75 being my favorite. I highly recommend this place if you are out on 1st Street for an antique shopping experience or calm stroll. This is an experience to have!

This review started out as a 3-star but reduced it to two due to our last minute experience.

Pros: Clean. Nice decor. Bellini bar!! This was unique and should be emphasized more as I have never seen one before.

Cons: The biggest letdown was the food. Not only in portion size (Had the charcuterie so I can’t review their sandwiches) but the quality. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking terrible horrid, I’m talking plain and average. A quick scan of their meat and cheese case told me immediately they get their products from Costco and cash/carry. Certainly not boutique and definitely not quality. This place is on par with a sandwich shop inside Fred Meyer or Costco. Not downtown Snohomish and certainly not at boutique prices. The next would be the wine. As someone else had pointed out, the wine selection is not good. And their per glass price is insane. The Bellini bar was reasonable and as I said, unique. Lastly, what made me reduce the star rating was the service. We were the ONLY ones in the place. There were 4 employees and (I assume) the owner. Not only did it take forever to get our food but when the bill came, we had to walk to the counter just to pay and leave. During this time, all the employees (3 now as one left for the day) were discussing how bad someone tipped them and how fair/unfair their tips were being divided up. Kinda unprofessional and tacky.

So it’s doubtful we will return. Especially when there are so many places to eat where the food is worth the money.

My suggestion (other than this review) would be to bring in a cheesemonger and smoked meats expert to highlight artisanal products. Then you can charge $25-30 a tray. Not packaged cheese...

Christa's is an amazing staple of downtown Snohomish that you should definitely - definitely - try.

From the outside it looks like an unassuming "just a sandwich" shop. But everything we've ordered over multiple visits has been fantastic, from appetizes to sandwiches to soups - it's all consistently good.

The first time we went I remember ordering bruschetta, not expecting much. But, it was out of this world and our table devoured it. It was a perfect mix of tastes and textures, and everything was made fresh, by hand.

Another time, my wife and I both ordered different soups as sides. From the first bite, through the last, we each looked up at each other and said "Oh my god - that is GOOD". We tried the other's soup, and repeated ourselves. Both soups were excellent, not good, not great, but drop dead excellent.

But, while I would love to give Christa's a 5/5, unfortunately they get a -1 star for service.

And the rub is that the service, from the staff, is great! We always have attentive waitresses, who are awesome and take care of everything we need promptly and correctly.

But the owner gets in the way of her own success. She berates staff, often loudly, and in front of clients - while her staff are busy serving them! She delays service by trying to do everything herself...when she has capable staff already doing it, and doing it right.

I'd love to see that change, and to see staff treated better, because Christa's would be a...

Edit: 6/10/2025 Came in after a year or so of not going and got HORRIBLE service. We came in and waited for quite a while, I guess, understandably there was quite a few people in there. But then we were sat down and it was the better part of 10 minutes before we were offered water. The person serving me I believe was the owner , and it just seemed like she had higher priorities, for example, the table with six women at it over me and my wife. She seemed so incredibly distracted by every other table, but ours. We nearly got up and left several times. Then when we got our food, it was nothing like when Crista was running the place. Very low quality, bread and meat, perhaps like it was bought at Cash & Carry. I have an old menu as well from the previous owner and the prices have gone up 25 to 35%. I understand the cost of things have gotten more, but that’s a huge increase. To say it’s disappointing as an understatement.

Best sandwich shop I’ve ever been too! Very friendly and awesome service! The soup of the day was incredible and they also let me try their chicken salad with was equally delicious. Small and local and I...
