My friend and I came to Todo Mexico while I was visiting from AZ. The menu seemed like your typical Mexican food restaurant however dishes that I would normally pay $15-$18 dollars for were priced anywhere from $19-$33. I figured the increase was due to Snohomish being a touristy town but as long as we were getting typical Mexican fare, than whatever…I’m on vacation! I ordered the Carnitas platter for $20. The menu states it’s traditional Carnitas with onions and peppers. Comes with beans and rice and tortillas. My friend ordered the Carne Asada plate which comes the same way minus the onions and peppers. It took a VERY long time before our food arrived and when it did the portion sizes were laughable for the amount they are charging. My carnitas were probably 80% onions and peppers! The flavor of the meat was good except I’ve always known Carnitas to have somewhat crispy edges and this did not. The beans on the side were very thin and didn’t have cheese on top. The rice was nothing special. I’ve never left a Mexican restaurant without having leftovers…ever!! We left feeling like Todo Mexico is solely relying on tourists who don’t know better to sustain them and don’t care about the quality of service or food they provide.

We've been coming here since it opened and haven't been in a while so we thought we'd go this afternoon. I always order the Carne Asada burrito and its always been great. Today on our first visit back in a while it was clearly evident, something has changed. My burrito was over cooked and not the same, had no cojetta cheese and I recieved a dallop of guacamole about the size of my fork. My wife ordered camarone's mojo de ajo and recieved 4 or 5 shrimp, her beans were spread out to look like a good portion and the rice was dry. We were very disappointed as this used to be a favorite of ours! Not any more! It's sad what businesses have turne into these days! Chips and Salsa should always be inclusive at no extra charge for customers ordering a meal. Don't know that we'll be back.

We ate here again this evening. The last time we ate here was a few months ago because I had been dreading coming back due to the food not having been very good that time. I had been trying to convince myself that it was just an off day. But given the simple burrito I ordered it seemed more of some change as opposed to a skill issue.

This time I ordered my favorite; arroz con pollo. It was just awful. The red sauce had no taste. The dish tasted like rice and bell pepper. Wrt cheese, I found evidence of a few shreds of what looked like mozzarella but there was no cheese flavor at all.

When I mentioned it to the server, he knew right away what I was talking about. Seems the owners have decided to shaft themselves by going all in on crap ingredients and jacking prices. A surefire recipe for tanking one's business. In any event, the red sauce, among other things, have been changed to something that is red in color but no flavor. He asked me if I'd like something else instead and, as I was drawing a blank on anything I tend to like that did not rely on red sauce, suggest carne asada. I agreed. It was a very well, as in proper, cooked steak. But it had zero seasoning so it tasted just like char grilled flank steak. If you love that charcoal flavor exclusively, you're in for a treat. If you like a properly cooked AND seasoned steak, well then you're in for a bit of sadness. I ended up making it somewhat edible by stealing most of the sour cream, salt, and grilled veggies (mostly onions at that point) from her plate of colima chicken carnitas. As an aside, she indicates that they are skimping on the seasoning for that dish as well.

It should also be mentioned that the pico, chips, and salsa have taken an epic dive as well. The pico used to have lime and red (powdered) seasoning components to it. The salsa, while not tasteless/outright awful, was notable different. I didn't really ever care for the salsa before anyway so it being even less/differently not to my taste now is just, "meh." The chips were fine. Not as magical as before but fine enough to not detract from the experience.

Unfortunately after 10 years of being Snohomish residents and relatively frequent visits here, the chapter comes to an end. It's very unlikely we will return w/out some external encouraging news on a return to sanity/greatness on...

Oh my goodness... would never say this restaurant is known for amazing service, always for the location since it's on the river. But Saturday night was so disappointing that I will never return. It started fine.. I ordered my 7-Up and water before ordering dinner- I was there with 2 friends to celebrate a birthday. Just got all showered and cleaned-up for the evening, mind you. At the time of ordering the waiter accidentally knocked over both of my beverages all over my lap and down both legs, and onto my feet/sandals leaving me not only cold.. but wet and sticky! No biggie, really. I totally understand an honest mistake like that... I am most certainly not the most graceful being myself. BUT.... are you really going to charge me full price when I have an experience like that? I was supposed to go out w/ the girls afterwards but was so completely UNCOMFORTABLE being sticky and cold that I just went home after dinner. Also had to get up and ask for utensils because I was sitting with hot food in front of me for a few minutes and unable to eat it. I was totally disappointed in how Todo handled things Saturday. I even mentioned it was my friends birthday but they didn't do anything special for her. Thought about writing this review or not, and after a few days to simmer I still wanted to share my experience. This restaurant needs to remember that it's the patrons that give you your job. Act grateful.. smile and make us want to return for more than the view. You just lost a loyal patron because you didn't even think of compensating me for...

Such high hopes as we walked through downtown Snohomish.. The beautiful fountain outside and patio...I was quite honestly shocked by the service we received. Erika was our server. My spouse and I were so excited by all the options on the menu. It took him a minute to decide, to which she started to walk away mid-ordering because "I wasn't paying attention, so sorry!!! I wanted to see if they would send me home lol". Busser asked if we wanted a refill on chips and salsa that never came. His steak came well done (was never asked for temperature) we didn't know what meat the tamale was (never got to ask) and we had to rely on another server in the area for anything we needed. We did not see Erika after we received our food, which is why the secondary margarita I ordered was not delivered until after we finally found her to ask for boxes (she did give us the margarita for free to say sorry because she "forgot I ordered one more lol"). Dropped the bill and never came back. We could see her laughing and talking at the bar to other staff without a care in the world. As a server for more than 5 years, it takes so much for me to even pen something like this. I work hard for my money, and I wish I could have experienced something remotely close to awarding an incredible gift to a fellow...
