3pm, today: The front end wait staff was great but the lady working in the kitchen was awful...

We had 2 amazing juices and sandwiches. Their ingredients are amazing! However, the cook was not. I ordered a delicious grilled cheese. When it was delivered, the cheese was not melted at all. It was just a warm cheese sandwich. So, I gave the sandwich to the front end staff and kindly requested they melt it some more and thanked them.

When the sandwich was redeliverd to my table, it was the cook who brought it. I again was kind, thanked her. Then she scowled at me, passively aggressively tossed my sandwich on the table, said absolutely nothing, then walked away stomping her feet. I was very confused by the situation because I was very kind to both her and all the staff. I mean, we all had great conversations, it was all positive until this cook came into the picture.

I really hope you have a chat with whoever was the cook today because that's not right to treat people that way. I hope the next time I come in will be a...

Grilla Bites Co-op Cafe in downtown Snohomish is more than just a restaurant – it's a cornerstone of the community. In the ever-changing hustle and bustle of First Street, Grilla Bites remains a steady, nourishing presence that truly stands out.

Anne, the heart behind this establishment, has brought so much to this town. Her commitment to serving organic, wholesome, and absolutely delicious food is unmatched. It’s rare to find a place where the food not only tastes incredible but also supports your health and well-being. As someone currently battling cancer, Grilla Bites is one of the only restaurants I can consistently eat at – and enjoy every bite.

There’s something deeply comforting about knowing there’s a place that cares about what they serve and the people they serve it to. From their fresh ingredients to their welcoming atmosphere, everything about Grilla Bites feels intentional and full of heart.

I truly hope they never leave Snohomish. This town is better – healthier, kinder, more grounded – because of...

This place is amazing! I'd be lying if I said this place didn't have some influence on my moving to Snohomish. My wife and I found ourselves visiting Snohomish every weekend to shop and sightsee, but no matter what else we did the trip was always anchored around a lunch at Grilla Bites!

The attitude and mission of the place (healthy food, locally sourced) was enough to make me like it, but the food made me love it! This isn't drab health food, this is rich and flavorful food that you'll feel good after eating. And it doesn't hurt that the owner and everyone who works there is delightful!

I can personally vouch for the Turkey Bacon Avocado, the Turkey Cranberry, and the Turkey Pesto sandwhiches. And the hummus they give you as a side is killer! Also, they're very accommodating of gluten and dairy allergies (and probably others too). I can't say enough great things...

Awsome Gluten-Free Options, That "Genuinely" Taste absolutely Amazing!!! Just make sure to Mention "Cilliac Dis.",(Not just Gluten-Free), & by their "Regular/Normal" practices, they automatically perform a "Complete" Kitchen sanitization, to avoid ANY/ALL Cross-contamination?!. That's their normal process, just expect about an extra 15min wait, BUT SOOOO WORTH IT, OMG?!..I've NVR gotten sick from Gluten/Cross-contamination, I LOVE their food, Would recommend to ALL, & they absolutely earned "this" Customer for LIFE! Thank You! 1 Sandwich= 2 smaller individual 1's due to GF (fluffiest choice), bread size...Yum, Yum, Yum, LOLOL!😂

Since the restaurant's opening, it has been our top choice due to the healthier food options compared to other nearby establishments. They offer a variety of protein smoothies and other items for those days when you don't feel like having a full meal. The homemade soups are delicious, and you even have the option of ordering half portions, like sandwiches, which is a rarity these days. My favorite is split pea soup, cranberry turkey on gluten free bread, and salad bar. 😋 And they also have lattes with nondairy options. You can sit outside back or in front if you prefer to enjoy the nice sunny days. Always so good!!

The fresh salad was excellent. You get to pick out whatever you want on it and they had lots of selection. The main reason why this place is only three stars it's because the soup just didn't have any flavor it had zero seasoning. Now maybe that's why they typically make it because both soups that we ordered were the same way they just needed some salt to make them taste like something. Other than that all the food was excellent, service is great, people were friendly.
