I recently was driving through and visited the A&W in Soda Springs, which also has the same employees for the taco time they must be affiliated and unfortunately, my experience was less than ideal. After placing my order, I witnessed something that was both off-putting and concerning. Two off the clock employees were at a table in the A&W , one of whom was rubbing cortisone cream on the other's arm (looked to be a allergic reaction or maybe poison oak I am unsure, but it was very offputting and very visible.) What happened next was even more troubling: they both then walked behind the counter into the kitchen neither of them washed their hands before they proceeded to grab food, serve themselves ice cream and soda. Mind you the arm was COMPLETELY exposed in the kitchen where the food was being made. To make matters worse, when the one girl came out from behind the counter, her behavior became confrontational. The lack of hygiene and professionalism in this establishment left a bad impression on me. It was absolutely disgusting!! I wha this with my own eyes I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was particularly unsettling. I hope that the management addresses these issues to ensure that future customers have a much...
Read moreWow. Ditto all the previous reviews that almost perfectly describe our experience here. HOWEVER, I can one-up all of them by saying that because the other customers and I had to wait so long for our order, they brought us complementary cinnamon crunchies. Nice, right? Wrong. We took one bite and immediately spit it out and threw the entire bag away (along with all of the other customers who’d received one) because someone put them in a bed of SALT AND PEPPER instead of CINNAMON AND SUGAR. THEN, when I got my cherry empanada dipped in what I hoped was cinnamon sugar, it was in deed dipped in the SALT mixture. Ended up throwing 3/4 of my entire meal away because of awful taste, the salt instead of sugar, the “crunchy taco” that literally ripped in half when I picked it up because of how wet and soggy it was, and the burrito that wasn’t even cooked through. Couldn’t stop laughing at how unprofessional and horrific this place was. We called them from the road after we tried the salty empanada and told them the sugar was actually salt and she told her employee to go put his finger in it to try it while we were on the phone. Go here if you want an experience to laugh about with...
Read moreAbout a week ago, while sitting inside waiting to place an order, the young lady at the drive thru at a&w/taco time was taking an order, we also saw a girl/employee with reddish pink hair in the background yelling at someone on her phone. The young lady at the window was appologizing for the chaos that was taking place behind her to the people at the window. I was very appoled that someone would act like that in their workplace. Someone needs to show that employee about proper work behavior before a&w/taco time loses all their business!! The girl with the reddish pink hair then started throwing stuff, and yelling and swearing at the other employees and through out the building. She was throwing a tantrum like a freaking 2 year old!! If I could rate just the employees, that girl that was throwing the fit would get negative stars from me. No one should be acting like that ever in a work place. I won't ever way there ever again if that reddish pink haired girl is working. I will go eat there again when I come back through town, if she's not there and that other young lady is working cause she was at least kind to the customers and apologetic for the way her...
