This man-made geyser goes off on the hour, every hour for a long time (5-10 minutes?). We weren’t planning to get soaked, but we totally did!
If you don’t want calcium spots all over your car, I suggest parking far away. Two professional car washes couldn’t remove the spots on our black car- we had to use vinegar and purified water to remove most of them and then buff them out with wax. Just park further away than you think you need to and you won’t have this headache.

The Soda Springs Geyser goes off every hour on the hour for about 10 minutes. It really is spectacular. You can get very close to this natural eruption as a spectator. After the geyser goes off the geyser bubbles. The colors of the mineral deposits and calculation build are so incredible. Make sure and read the history board while there. So fascinating.
