Working out of town in the soda springs area booked the room after looking it up on line sounded OK for a inexpensively priced budget motel till we arrived that is of course after driving past three times convinced that in no way could the delapidated vacant old buildings be are motel even after pulling in an walking to office door an seeing a rag pluging the hole were the dead bolt lock should be an deciding to ask directions inside The empty Chinese restaurant an finding only a 6 year old little girl behind the counter eventually a lady came out from the back an said we were indeed at the trails an after being shown the room broken fridge tiny window ac an some of the dirtyest 1970 carpet you know its orginal let's put it this way the place was so horrible when we told him there was no way we would be stay at his hotel an he told us he would have to charge us 30 dollers for cancelling I told him I would happily pay 30 dollers to not stay there if that's what it took found very nice clean rooms an friendly staff at the park motel in Montpellier Idaho thanks again to the...
Read moreI have to first point out that the people who run this hotel are very nice and super accommodating. I'd give staff friendliness a ranking of five stars. ||But the rooms and the hotel itself are in DIRE need of updating and repair. We pulled into town late at night and so the parking lot and location in general seemed super scary/sketchy for us "city folk". Could use some lighting in the parking lots to start with. So both of those things were welcome surprises! So my best advice here is "Stay at your...
Read moreThis motel was conveniently located on the main strip. It was past 10pm and the whole town seemed to be shut down, so rather than drive around looking for hotels we decided to stop. The $39 a night room was clean (as clean as it could be) with 2 queen beds, a TV, free wifi, and a small fridge. The beds were not terrible and the wifi worked, so there was that.||The best thing about this place was the water pressure. Wow, like someone turned a fire hose on you, but then there were the crusty towels. I asked the mgr to bring us fresh ones, but to my horror the "fresh" ones were just as crusty as the ones in the room. They were clean, but like using sand paper to dry off.||The staff was accommodating and friendly in the process. Over all (for the price) it wasn't that bad. I have definitely...
