I went to Santa Fe Christian just up the street for high school so I’ve been to Claire’s many times over the years and this past weekend it was just as good as I had remembered. There is always a bit of a wait during weekend mornings and we were told we would have to wait 25 minutes, but it ended up being about 5 to 10 minutes. We were able to be seated inside, but they have plenty of heated outdoor seating in the back as well. Parking is extremely easy because there is a free parking lot in the back or it’s also easy to find parking in the train station parking lot across the street. They don’t have a very large menu, but it has a lot of great options on it. For my breakfast I started off with the Salted Caramel Latte and thought it was fantastic. Claire’s is known to have some of the best coffee around and it was just as good as it always has been. For my entrée, I chose the Parmesan Risotto and Cured Bacon Benedict and really enjoyed it. It was an extremely unique take on a classic dish that I love so it was nice to have a different version. The hashbrowns on the side were fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone ordering them. Overall a great breakfast spot and somewhere that I would call a neighborhood gem. It’s definitely a hit with the locals, but would be great for people visiting town as well. I plan to be back in the near future.

TLDR - 5/5 delicious food, fantastic service. Expect a little bit of a wait, nothing out of the norm for a restaurant in demand. There was a little bit of a wait to get our food but it was nothing out of norm for a busy restaurant. Also weather was perfect, and the waitress had a second sense of when to refill our coffee and water. This lets us enjoy each others company while waiting for what ended up being a super delicious lunch! I got the enchiladas and eggs. It was good but I wouldn’t order again. Next time I will order the flat bread or the fried green tomato sandwich. The enchiladas were good, the black beans, but the scrambled eggs just didn’t feel in sync. All good on their own. We also shared the Tahitian Vanilla French toast - I worried it would be too sweet/overwhelming vanilla flavor, it was just right. The blackberry stuffed French toast is next on our list. My partner got the Maple Fried Chicken sandwich with the addition of sliced tomato. It was the winning dish at the table. The tomatoes were fresh and flavorful, the fried chicken perfectly crisp.

First of all, such a cool space with outdoor covered dining, suitable for the several pets we saw at their owners' feet. One from our party had been here a while back with her sisters and she had been craving it so much that she convinced us to take a road trip down from Orange County just for this brunch. And I can tell you, it was so worth it. The two ladies split the Risotto Benedict and added a pancake. They were very kind to split the plate in the kitchen for us. My buddy got a Cali Omelet and I got the server's recommendation, the Blackberry French Toast. Wow, that was good. I don't know what the french toast was stuffed with, maybe a cream cheese, but whatever the combination, it was so tasty. Now I am craving it, and I want to take another road trip just for brunch at Claire's.

We live to combine a home at Annie's canyon down the street with a visit to Claire's before or after. I joined the wait-list on Google maps as I was driving there. Checked into the hostess stand after I was able to score the last spot in their small parking lot behind the restaurant. There is plenty of parking across the street. Service was good and we were there at noon for lunch. It was busy but there were still plenty of empty tables out on their back patio. We had a little wait for our food orders and they came out at different times. We ordered the salmon and peach salad and the veggie sandwich. The salad was very fresh and delicious. The veggie sandwich wasn't a hit so we don't recommend that dish. High stack of fresh vegetables but tasteless.

New favorite breakfast spot...When I arrived they said it was a 25 minute wait which I felt was worth waiting for from reading all the great reviews... but then they called me immediately and was seated, that is always a nice surprise. Friendly service and never had to wait long on anything. Got the Tuscan Eggs Benedict with Sausage and added avocado. It was like eating spaghetti and eggs... It was DELICIOUS! This was probably the best breakfast I've had in a long time and I am excited to go back and get the same thing, and try new stuff. My friend had the pancakes and said the syrup was amazing! Also the cookies with the bill is a nice warm friendly touch, although I was to stuffed to eat them.
