This is a great spot for some good Italian food. Great vegetarian options!
Food 8.7/10: We ordered two vegetarian options, the Mushroom Pappardelle and Tortellino. Both were a solid choice for us and gave us different flavors to enjoy. The quantities of both plates were adequate. Two wntrees can easily fill three people. We had enough leftovers for the next day's lunch. Pasta was fresh and prepared el dente. I would have preferred a bit more softer, but first meal here I wanted to enjoy as the chef preferred. They provided us bread, but I wish it was warmed. Must enjoy with the pasta sauce!!!
Service 4/10: Our server was very unattentive and looked overwhelmed. She did not know which options on the menu were vegetarian and how the plates were prepared. We would ask for something and wait quite a while (15 or so minutes) before we would ask again. Happened to us three times, so it wasn't a pleasant service experience.
Atmosphere 7/10: Small dining area and open kitchen experience. You can hear and partially see everything going on in the kitchen. I liked that!! Fun group of people cooking in the kitchen, it sounded like. The place was well kept. Given how small the dining area is, it may get noisy as it is a family restaurant. It's not a romantic place for sure. Parking is very limited and very congested, so careful entering and leaving.
Overall, this was a decent experience. Definitely worth trying their food!! Will re-visit one...
Read moreI ordered here around 8:45 Friday night because my husband got Chinese and I wanted something different. I decided to get Marsini’s to take home since it was right next door. I ordered online and specifically picked curbside pickup because I was not feeling well. On the receipt, it said to call when I got there. I got there around 9:25 and called. The phone rang about 13 times and I hung up, but I looked and saw that they don’t close until 10. I was forced to go inside and grab it which wasn’t a big deal, but I was trying to be courteous to the people and employees inside as I didn’t feel good.
I got spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I wasn’t crazy about the sauce because it tasted too acidic. Kind of gave me heart burn every time I swallowed it. I gave three stars because of how good the meatballs were, but I don’t know that I’ll go back based on the...
Read moreFinally had the chance to taste the food from Marsini's. Showed up late on a Friday night and was welcomed the minute I walked in. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and when they found out I was a 1st timer and how far we came to try it, they raised their game. The food was simply amazing. I cannot wait for the outdoor dining to be open so we enjoy as soon as Carlo finishes his magic in the kitchen. We ate on the road and were blown away how good the food was. If this place had a dining area, the wait would be insane. All I can say is try the risotto. Lights out, the best risotto I have ever eaten and I have eaten in many top restaurants in the country. Looking forward to coming back and try out next meal. Thanks to Carlo and Mike for making our 1st...
