Well....I want to mention 1st that I've been coming here since they opened some 10+ yrs ago, and I literally can't think of even one instance of negative experiences. So gotta give props there, and the reason I gave more than 1 star. Having said that, the last time I came here (the very last time ever!), I ordered a 2 piece meal 4 my small dog and I, after realizing they gave me a wing (I ask 4 all white)I went back into drive thru to get it fixed up. Making it no big deal, because it really wasn't a big deal, the girl working the DT had an instant change of attitude. I drive to the window, hand her the box. She picks it up with her bare fingers, drops it back into the box, and tries, giving it back to me, and says, "Ugh yeah, that is white meat, lady!" I calmly said, OK listen! I can already detect that you're aiming for an argument, and lucky for you, I'm not gonna entertain that right now because my dog is hungry. So just switch the wing, AND I'll be on my way! No, im not that's white meat lady! I says, you're wrong! She loudly tells me, " I've been here 13 years, I know what white meat is, lady! So i proceeded to tell here, "Guess what ya dope, i've been here for fifty-two friggin yrs so guess who knows more than you!! I demanded my money back and told her she would never ever be happy working in customer service! She should quickly find a quiet job, somewhere by herself, at least until and not a moment before getting some psychiatric help. This kind of bogus stuff is happening more and more every single day. Read moreRegretfully, my first time using the on-line KFC App was a disaster. Using the App was easy. However, when I arrived to pick up my order at the Somerset, MA store it wasn't there. I was informed by Store Manager "Adam" that they received my order, packed it but was picked up by "Door Dash" and there wasn't anything they could do for me. In fact, Adam said, "this happens all the time!" Talk about rubbing salt in the open wound!! What kind of customer service is that? At the very least, the store Manager could have agreed to pack me my order. But he refused. Only 8 pieces of chicken. How much would that have cost KFC, especially when there was no dispute that they made the error! Had he packed me my order, you would still have a satisfied customer. Rather, store Manager Adam sent me home empty handed, hungry and angry. Is that how District Managers teach their store Managerial staff about customer service? What is KFC's cost for 8 pieces of chicken? Really?!! Now you are left with a customer with a vote of no confidence in your App. As a long term retail Manager myself in an unrelated field, I recommend you send Adam for retraining in customer service. Meanwhile, it would help if you designate separate areas for Door Dash orders, keeping separate from customer self- Pick up orders. If space is an issue, maybe pack Door Dash orders in different colored bags or maybe tag them? How difficult would that be? If you want decent service; order ahead or go through the drive thru because evidently when you go in to the restaurant the staff act like they can’t be bothered. An employee had the audacity to ask me to use a kiosk instead of taking my order, claiming to be “slammed and understaffed” while they only had one person dining inside and one person in the drive thru when I walked in. I’m sorry that I don’t want to use a kiosk that people touch and you don’t clean. As someone who works in customer service, I know being understaffed isn’t the customers problem. But if you don’t want to do your job and pick up the extra slack you probably shouldn’t work there.
