Didn’t much care for the food here!🫣 #longhorn #steakhouse #somersetky #porkchops #cheeseburger #fries #potato #bread #kentucky

Where do I start. Arrived and had to wait around 35 minutes which was to be expected. Hostess was absolutely non-enthusiastic and made you feel like you were troubling her just by being there. First table we were sat at was absolutely freezing. Outside air temp was around 43 degrees. Indoor air temp was high 50’s low 60’s. Our waitress was very kind and moved us to a table the vents weren’t hitting directly. She did tell us it was pretty cold everywhere inside and customers complain often about it. We switched waitresses with tables and our second waitress while kind wasn’t as preppy as the first one. Received our drinks approximately 10 minutes later. Salads came along around the 25 minute mark with the main course in a little over an hour. That was after me questioning how much longer our food would be and considering leaving and just paying for the drinks and salads. Steaks were decent, a little too much salt in the seasoning. Fries were inedible due the amount of salt on them. All in all it wasn’t worth the $93.00. Here are some observations: They attempt to make themselves look busy by requiring the wait to get in. Once we finally got in we noticed immediately there were numerous dirty tables around the dining area. Many of those tables stayed dirty for quite some time after we were eating. One party left from a table before we got our drinks. That table stayed dirty until just before we left which was approximately 1 1/2 hours. The frustrating part of that was there were people waiting in the lobby during that entire time. Most of the waitresses avoided the dining room area and didn’t come out unless they were physically running food, etc.. It was easily discernible they were avoiding customers who had been waiting an extra long time for food. We observed the manager once in her less than tasteful flashy blue jacket addressing a table who had an order that wasn’t correct. We also watched how waitresses took advantage of the nook where the computer was at to hide and play on their cell phones. This could be a really good restaurant. I’ve ate at other longhorns and they have been excellent. This one needs good management and training. They seriously lack in both.

I liked the atmosphere, and staff was friendly and helpful. Service was on the slow side with an extended wait to be seated, which was expected. Steak was tough with not much flavor. Salad was served with the dressing already added, it would be better if they allow you to decide how much you want. The bread is a honey wheat that was served cold, although very good. Texas Roadhouse is still a better option in my opinion due to better pricing and quality of food. Plan on spending $45-$55 for 2 people plus tip.

i am not pleased with longhorns steakhouse. the seating here was silly. everybody waiting cuz people dont show up for work or the restaurant was too small. it didnt look that small. our younger waiter was called in whether he was or not. make no mistake he was there on effort. told us 15 gave us a little piece of paper said 28 minutes. i guess thats sposed ta be proof for getting a table. had people waiting everywhere. you know in the restaurant business its a domino effect and it all rolls down hill. i think it was sunday during lunch. shocked they told us 15 minutes then turned out 28 minutes. then everybody waiting everywhere.........everybody checkin their phones for a text. if u have no phone i dunno what yud do. ok, moving forward bottom line facts: longhorn in bowling green i think it was and sunday bout 2 pm. told 15 minutes turns out 28 minutes their piece of paper confirmed this. waiter was trying but called in retiree nice enough fella. and another thing these dang ng steakhouses in particular are doing they dont leave the a1 at the table. the a1 needs ta be at the table ALWAYS at a STEAKHOUSE. GG. haha. honestly tastewise over the years longhorn has been lower than other restaurants weve been too. i dont like lgs selection every time i look at their menu. u know, its no joke running a restaurant. its beyond difficult to manage, money, food itself, and people together. get on the phone and call your supervisor when people dont show for work. or shut it down. man we went to pizza hut in campbellsville went in, the gurl said theres no salad, no waitresses, only bottled pepsi, and she could not change cash. i said why are u even open then. you are not open. see, i dunno why u wouldnt just lock the door in that case. its already a miracle if anybody went there. if yur not really gonna be open close the place down lock the doors. just put a covid sign up the gov thinks its ok to do it. why shouldnt you? see, its all a lie. they talked about it years before they started calling it covid. its not covid. its superbugs. i did not say this; i am not here. to conclude about longhorn: pass on longhorn steakhouse. other steakhouses are better and doing it better than longhorn. sorry longhorn no hate but that IS what is happening in the world and what happened...

My family decided to take a drive to Longhorn steak house about forty minute drive when we arrived we waited only 10 minutes to sit down on a Saturday night we thought we hit the jackpot ! Boy were we wrong !! We sat down and the server came after a few minutes took our drink order and appetizer order , a food expediter brought out the bread and appetizer it looked delicious Unfortunately we had no silverware to use so I asked her if we can get some and she said yes but then never returned . I asked the server once he brought our drinks he says yes and again never returned . I went to the front after waiting for a few minutes I have a handicap child and is losing his patience waiting . The host said she would get some and then she didn’t come back the manager was standing there so I asked her if she can get some silverware , she was very aggressive and says she knows of this issue and they are looking for silverware she stated the host had called off this evening and it’s been a terrible evening . She says that I can go sit down , I said I would wait since my bread and appetizer was getting cold . She grabbed her little clip board and walked off like she was on a mission I thought surely she is going to get silverware . No she just took a tour of the dining room like there wasn’t a care in the world . I stood at the hostess desk ppl were waiting to check in ppl were standing around looking for hostess to sit them . My family moved here from Indiana and we have a great longhorn there and they have a great manager Michelle that cares about her restaurant !! Scherillville Indiana , We finally just got up and left never getting silverware. What a disappointment this trip was but there are so many restaurants around there that we found a great one to have a great dinner . This manager really needs to get a job on an assembly line where she dosnt need to have good customer service !! She definitely didnt care about my family . I guess this is the reason the wait was only 10 minutes on a...
