When I arrived, no register was open. That, I understand. It was the busiest hour of the day and all the staff had to play in all areas of the court.
However, the following is... quite bad.
They pulled the people in line to the business center
So I waited there for 10 minutes
Part way through, someone pulled people to the register. She didn't say that all of the people had to go, she made it sound optional.
But when I was up at the business center, I was told to go to the register,
behind all of the people who were previously behind me; Only because I followed their instructions which were absurdly misleading.
After that, I was told that all pickups are at the business center.
Right as it became my turn at the business center, they pulled the person who was at the register who previously told me to go to the business center over - and he had to take me. He then told me I had to wait somewhere else (like... 2 feet to my left, which wasn't an actual service area). After a few minutes of me standing there, he takes me again, brings me to the register and starts showing me every box with an office chair asking if they were mine. He then told me it wasn't there without looking at any of the tags.
The manager (or whoever was in charge) saw this happen, so he intervened. He tried showing the associate the process (clearly not the first time) and was being very patient and kind - a genuinely good teacher. He was great.
The bottom line: if the manager didn't overhear, I would've been thrown from line to line for even longer and probably wouldn't have ended up with my order. Also concerning was that it really seemed as if the associate was just going to give me any chair that I...
Read moreNo idea why they chose to be a UPS drop-off point because there is NEVER anyone behind the desk to take your parcels. I had to use this service 4 times this week and had the same pitiful experience every time. You go the the drop off desk, wait for a good 5 minutes before someone dares to come or for someone from the registers to say "I'll be right with you" but they ultimately don't. At one occasion, the manager and two workers were dealing with one customer while there was a group of 5 or 6 people waiting for quite a long time to drop their parcels. The manager finally came to scan and take the parcels in after a lady complained loudly that there was no need for three of them to assist just one person and that they could handle this in a better, more professional way instead of letting us wait for so long. No apology was given by the manager. The sad thing is that store is always empty, so why are employees so not willing to help? It seems like a competition of who will be...
Read moreI have been a customer here for a few years now. I went in today to have a file printed out for me Off my USB and I got stuck with this rude lady who declined to help me because she said she was busy and told me to use the self printer and I told her I was unable to use it because I had cash only on me. Mind you she had time to chat it up with two other ladies after me. So I told her you have time for them but not me. Last time I checked they're there to help the customer with what they want. I asked to speak with the manager and low and behold she said she was the manager... You think as manager she would have handled thing's differently with me. Instead she told me I was just trying to escalate a situation. Thankfully another employee came over and helped me with no problems. Something she could have just done the first...
