Epic Cookies — Restaurant in Somerville

My girlfriend and I went in to get cookies. When I saw many products with nuts or peanut butter, I decided I would not get any cookies as I am allergic. My girlfriend asked for 2 snickerdoodle cookies, and was told that she would have to wait a bit as the batch was just finishing up in the oven. Instead of giving us 2 snickerdoodle cookies, they instead gave us 1 snickerdoodle and 1 peanut butter cookie. It is of course our responsibility to make sure the food we eat is not dangerous to me, but it's pretty irresponsible to mix up a simple order of 2 snickerdoodles with a peanut butter cookie.

While we waited for the cookies to finish baking, another customer ordered a milkshake, and the server said within earshot of customers that she is "not making that". They clearly did not use enough ingredients to make a milkshake in the correct size of what the customer ordered, so they filled nearly half the cup with whipped cream. In the process, they knocked over all the straws and gave the milkshake to the customer saying "we don't have any more straws".

Don't waste your tastebuds or your money. Was so disappointed. The cookies were tasteless and stale. The Brownies were HARD AND STALE, the Cupcakes,chocolate and vanilla, were dry, no moistness at all, and the icing was terrible. Tasted like whipped Crisco. doesn't anyone control what goes out the doors or taste what is being made? I've also noticed that they must remove reviews because I've reviewed them and my friend reviewed as well and both of our negative reviews are not posted. HMMMMM they must get so many that they need to delete to keep their rating up...

Wow. The owner replied to me as someone else? Doesn't he/she see my name? Maybe the owner should actually examine the product that is being produced and going out the door instead of trying to discredit actual...

Quick update: I don't know if they listened or this was planned already, but the cookie had more variety in chocolate!! Tasted AMAZING!! Thank you Epic Cookies 🍪🙌

The location is very convenient for those who want to grab a quick snack. Opening day had a line, but each order went so quick I was able to grab mine in less than 10 minutes. The only problem I have is the cookie I ordered, the epic chocolate chip cookie. I loved the size and thickness of it, making the price more worth it, but there weren't enough variety of chocolate chips. I know they plan to update their menu in the future since it's their first month opening. But if they had to change the recipe, please add a variety of milk and dark chocolate chips. And who knows, they may make a new cookie that may include...
