My friends and I came in before a show that evening. We ordered some drinks and a few burgers, and the chicken stir fry. The place was pretty empty when we got there but a few people shuffled in to hang/watch a game. Standard bar atmosphere, nothing particularly noteworthy. The servers were nice. Occasionally took a bit of time to get to us but overall very helpful and patient. When the food finally came we were starving. The fires were tasty but the burgers were okay. Not bad by any means, and I was satisfied after it, but not the tastiest thing I've had. A friend got the chicken stir-fry and that honestly looked simple yet delicious. I'll get that next time if I come back. Overall, a decent place to get a drink, maybe some food, and watch some football.

Filled with locals, The Pub is one of the more towny pubs in Somerville and its a great spot for after work beers. Wouldn't really be coming here for dinner or a meal but if you want to pound some beers with local Somerville firefighters, police and teachers after work this is the spot to be. The wings here are something else, they fry and grill them and they are amazing. Other than Buffs in Watertown this is one of my favourite spots for wings in the greater Boston area. Order everything from the bar, if it's not your style then don't come here. The service in my experience has been great.

I love a good dive bar, and The Pub did not disappoint. Friendly service and very reasonable prices! Solid selection of appetizers. The wings were fantastic! Bonus points for pitchers of beer. Can’t wait to come back again and try a burger.

All I can say is talk is cheap from this city. I refuse to go to any more local shops, mom, and pop shops anymore. People literally just don't care . The drinks were absolutely disgusting. they must think we are a back alley truck driver. It doesn't make the drink better when you overdo it with the alcohol. I'm not a teenager. I want a bartender who knows how to make a drink and not just an answer with an attitude. I even tip the people when I realize. I literally got up and got my own food. Also, I got a steak tip salad that everybody talked about. I got food poisoning that night. I knew it when I was eating the meat. Because one of them was just too red. I'll never go back there again. I'm good lol This isn't my first time being at the pub every single time. I go there to disappointment,...

Solid pastrami and fries. The most disrespectful and neglectful staff and oddly confrontational patrons as well. It isn't plausible that every patron is treated so poorly. It had territorial and exclusive Irish vibe. Which added additional irony as I have a common Irish first and last name. I'm from LA out on business and took my colleague and kind friend from Delhi who just started a PhD program in a advanced technical field at Tufts. He deserves better service from a local pub. The service felt prohibitive in nature and indicated that they wanted us to leave. Treat people kinder please. Had not been.for the efforts of one gentlemen at the bar, I would have been forced to leave empty handed. Potentially your saving grace was...
