UPDATE: It's gotten worse. Corporate should remove the owner and press reset.
We walked into a nearly empty restaurant at 11:50 on a Sunday. A single patron and no one at the register.
After a couple of minutes an angry woman came in to complain that they'd given her the wrong food in the drive-thru and they aimlessly tried to address that, but did not acknowledge us.
My husband suggested we leave and we should have. But after another minute they finally decided to take our order, minus the HoneyQ sauce, because they didn't have that.
We got tiny, cold, limp, chicken tenders. They had obviously been sitting around for a while One of my husband's tenders was half gristle.
While we choked down our lunch we could overhear the staff talking about all the things they were out of: lemonade, ice cream, chicken, etc. One girl said Rachel had messed up the order and another expressed dismay that she was ordering at all.
There was no manager and we saw the shift lead leave the store with a large cup. Probably taking a break from...doing nothing?
One employee was trying to locate the shift lead because she had, "just done a manager thing" and taken the name and address of an upset customer. No doubt they will be getting coupons they have no desire to use.
I love Hardee's, but there is no reason to ever return to this location.

We waited a long time for chicken strips. The store seemed to be staffed properly, as far as we could see, but people were just standing around.
There was a tense moment where the van that had been asked to pull up got their food before the person in front of THEM who had not pulled up enough. The van almost backed into our car in a desperate bid to not spend their entire afternoon in the Hardee's drive thru.
Then we were asked to pull up as well and wait an additional 5 minutes to the 5 we sat at the window.

update manager cares about her store 5stars for her. staff when walked in looked at me went about their business. did not acknowledge I was there as if invisible. Hardee's spends lots of advertising money to get me in the door or window. only to have employees who do not care. I travel all across the country and give thoughts of my travels over 1million reviews read. people see n read these. talk to staff as manager not friends.
update 9/27 come on now.. again just left your store.. walked in .walked to counter checked out menu board girl walked past me just like before. waited finally asked 2 employees sitting at booth if someone was going to take my order. they looked at each other as if I was cutting into their time. I just left as if they cared.. paying people to sit and chill.
PLEASE IMPROVE.. MANAGER WILL FORWARD MY CONCERN TO CORPORATE..

Friday may 20 2022 walked in studied menu chose $5 burger ff drink. spoke with counter person. undergoing complete personal revamp. ff ok. drink ok. burger a flop.. apparently bun was toasted but not to order. sandwich was cold to touch and texture. impossible to eat and enjoy. Read moreService is terrible. What few employees they have are overworked, angry and probably couldn't get hired anywhere else or they'd quit. Very, very rude service.
Restaurant opened 4 hours late, but still took online orders; didn't realize until I got there. No signs on the door telling anyone this, so there were multiple people at the doors trying to get in. Would have left, but they took my online order so I now had money tied into this.
Pulled up and was told they "should be open at 10", tone was very rude and snippy. Told her I had aj online order but was fine canceling it, she told me "she wasn't going to do that" and that I could just wait.
20min later I got a cold, sad sandwich and fries and a drink that had clearly sat out the entire time. Beyond basically throwing the food at me, she refused to interact with me, no sorry for the wait no thank you for your patience, just literally toss the food at me and close the door with a slam level of service.
Called corporate and they dont have a support line anymore, so you have to fill out an online form. I did that, haven't heard back, and since I found out that apparently you won't hear back as they don't really have a customer support department anymore.
I love their burgers, but I get the impression this company is about to go under, and can't afford to hire decent staff or anyone above the employees in the restaurant. I personally would not eat here again, as I feel there's a decent chance I'd pay for food I'd never get, and if that happens there's no way to...
