Forgive me if this is inappropriate, but this Let's Spoon location deserves a full five stars for their bathroom alone.
I mean, don't get me wrong, the service was really nice and the selection of flavors and toppings were all similar to your typical fro-yo store, but that bathroom though!
I have a problem with using public restrooms. They're always messy and require me to clean the toilet seat before I can use it, just to add insult to injury with that cheap toilet paper that's only really suitable to be used as tracing paper for elementary school art projects. No, scratch that, tracing paper is probably thicker than your garden variety razorblade paper you normally get the unfortunate opportunity to use at most public bathrooms.
But not this Let's Spoon location. Oooooh no. Let me tell you what, honey. You walk into that bathroom and it smells like Mr. Clean and the woman from the Pone-Sol commercials just got done making sweet, clean, sanitizing love on the very floor you stand on mere moments before you walked in. Don't even bother grabbing a paper towel to wipe off the seat, because it's clean enough to make the International Space Station look like a big sewage pipe. And the wiping paper? No, not one-ply. Not even two-ply. No, no, no. This was real. This was pure luxury. The paper at this place was top notch, soft, cushiony paper that was even better than the toilet paper at my girlfriend's house (girlfriend did confirm).
This Let's Spoon location has my ever-greatful returning business from now on when I'm in town. They know how to run a business with a proper restroom, friendly employees, and delicious frozen yogurt.

Read moreI love the selection of frozen yogurt, particularly the number of gluten free options that are typically available. The staff are typically courteous and don't mind asking questions about allergens (although on my latest visit, the signs for each flavor were more clearly marked than previous visits, so that was awesome).
It can occasionally be really busy given that the shop is right by Notre Dame, but that's not always the case. One of my favorite times to go in is later in the evening; it's usually not very busy, so there aren't a lot of impatient people waiting for me to make up my mind.
Probably my biggest complaint is just how often the floor in front of the yogurt machines is super sticky. I imagine it could be hard to keep the floor clean all day, but when your shoes are audibly sticking to the floor, it's a little off-putting. The next complaint would be that they can't seem to stick to one reward system which occasionally makes for some confusion; however, most of the time this is straightened out with at least some compensation for lost rewards on the old system. It's a pretty minor complaint, but I'm mentioning it so people will be aware to keep up with their rewards as they go if they are into that kind of thing.
It's a cute little shop with tasty fro-yo. It's not the easiest spot to get into, but...
Read moreNew ownership took over within the last year or so and let’s spoon has really gone down hill. The previous owners were a family and the young manager had a fabulous team who always kept a welcoming environment, they were present in the store, and were always socializing and open to feedback from loyal customers, like myself who visited every Monday and possibly more days each week. I always recognized the core group of workers and they were always friendly and kept the shop running well. Since the new ownership took over they have cycled through many different groups of staff, no one wants to stay as they are treated without any respect! When I talked to the guy working about the changes he even was talking down on the old crew who ran it so well before. Additionally, as the price keeps rising the quality keeps declining. The old owners had premium yogurt and the new owners supposedly have a powder they use according to one of the staff members. Please ensure you read the most recent reviews when deciding on which South Bend ice cream shop to visit. Let’s Spoon might as well be a whole entirely new business than what...
