Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in South Bend

Waited a HALF HOUR for food that was ordered on the app that said it was ready to be picked up within 5 to 7 minutes of placing the order. Then I used rewards points to get a three-piece combo and requested spicy chicken. What I got was classic. Poor management, unmotivated and slow employees who are obviously relatives or friends of the owner because the employees don't care and are often seen just standing there staring at one another and doing nothing and eating food. They don't care about tending to the front counter, VERY LAZY, women's bathroom door was broken and this was the second time I've been to this location that the women's bathroom was broken. The first time the door handle lock was broken. How are these happening when the locations only been open for what 6 or 7 months? They need to revoke the franchise from the owner! Management does not care and was even overheard telling another angry customer when she asked to speak to the regional manager that "this location is a franchise location so good luck because they don't have a regional manager". That entire crew, including management, needs to be terminated! Avoid...

Went here 7/18/2025 at around 6:30pm. The service was not great. I completely understand when it is a busy dinner rush and I need to wait a few minutes extra for food. However, the supposed "manager in training" was incredibly rude. The manager on duty was very nice considering how busy they were. He had even told them to grab our order next so they could get us out the door. The manager in training, however, kept marking that orders were ready when they weren't and were putting them out in the wrong order. I had to ask for my drinks because I noticed other people had to ask. She replied with "oh i dont know you took the bag" in a very condensing voice instead of just asking what I had. Well, it didn't take long for this location too long to go down hill. I LOVE Popeye's. However I won't be visiting this location anymore. Last 3 visits, progressively got worse. No one puts together orders as they are made. They pass out orders not in order. My food sat under so many other orders, I'm shocked I got eveything I ordered. People several orders after mine getting food before me. Lobby was disgusting. Fountain wasn't stocked. Manager cussing in the back, and handing out her friends food first who just ordered. When they threw my bag at me after I waited for 15 minutes, I asked for sauce, was ignored once, and then they grabbed a huge handful of the messiest stuck together popped open packets and threw them in my bag. Food was barely hot when we got it since it sat for so long waiting...
