FINALLY trying Joe’s Meat Market in South Broundbrook, NJ. So many items on the menu, I wasn’t sure what to get but settled on their pizza and corned beef sloppy Joe. Everything came out to $25 which is a great deal in my book. Very impressed by their Jersey Sloppy Joe. Would definitely go back to try some of their other items! #fyp #foodshow #pizza #sandwich #foodreview #foodtok #mukbang #foodreview #nj

After watching Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives we had to try it. Located in South Bound Brook, NJ. This small family owned business is a deli and pizza shop. Nothing fancy just plain good food. This is old school where if lucky you get a table to eat your meal. They serve morning breakfast and lunch as well as, getting something to bring home for dinner. We were impressed with seeing three generations of family working there with a large crew working in the back kitchen, pizzeria, deli, front counter and delivery personnel. Space is limited and every space has a purpose. You actually feel the vibe as you work there and have a lunch break. Let's talk food. Triple D featured the 18 year old son who works the kitchen. The p RT product "Antipasto Bread" in a shape of a round circle. It contained mozzarella and assorted Italian favorites with a side of marinara sauce. Think of a calzone without the ricotta cheese. Very tasty and only $10. This can feed 4-6. The main attraction was their "Sloppy Joe". It was homemade brine corned beef, roast Turkey breast, roast beef, coleslaw, russian dressing and marble rye. Everything is homemade, brined, roasted and prepared from scratch except the bread. This triple decker can feed 2 and only cost $14. We tried the Grandma pizza which was thin crust, tomato, basil and pepperoni with a taste of honey. This was a winner also. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and his parents. After speaking to them, you get the feeling of being treated as old friends. This was part of the overall experience. This is worth the trip. Again let me say this is a very bare bones shop but, feel like home and part of the family.

I always enjoy receiving delivery by this establishment but I'm very angry tonight @10:09 due to miscommunication by one the staff and not receiving my new order where I was promised by the manager to have my order exchanged. At 9:04pm I asked a young woman if I can get an order of plain cheese and pepperoni pizza with a box of garlic nuts. She replied that she took the order, told me the price without me even telling her that I want to pay by credit card and told me to hold on for a second. I'm a patient person but the hold was took several minutes that the phone cut off.

Not too bothered by the disconnection or whatever it was so I called again. I was answered by the manager and told him what his staff did and I never got to tell her my card information. He took it and after that, I waited for my order and was greeted by a delivery person quickly. But to my dismay I received two boxed of pizza instead; an entire pie of all cheese and another box all pepperoni but my garlic were available. I called back at 9:16 p.m. and was answered to the exact staff member again and told her nicely that I wanted the ingredients all on the same, single pie. I told her if she just gave me a chance to imply my credit card and not be curtailed so quickly, the transaction probably would have been ok.

She told me that she'll transfer me to her manager and before I got to him, I overhead her side of the story of the mistake. I spoke with the manager that it was her mistake, being told to hold for a long time and requested for what I exactly ordered and I asked if what I paid for will be transferred back on my mother's card and he said it will only be a $1.00 difference off and he won't just let me keep the pizza. I didn't need the sarcasm about me just taking the two boxes I don't want, just if it was a possibility about what's paid or not but just mindfully brushed it off, tipped my pizza guy, and brought the entire thing back.

I've waited for 2 hours now (it's 10:25 p.m not) and I never received my order but still charged my $30 something dollars with no call back! I don't care if this place closes at 10pm, my delivery should have been here already. I will arrive to this establishment early tomorrow in the morning just for this nonsense. I have everything that is voice recorded on my phone and want what I paid for back on my damn card!

This is unprofessional, thieving, and absurd! I never had this issue but I don't think I'll be ordering from here in a while just because some little girl screwed up my order to lead to this! Funny thing is, I never had an order issue with the other staff but this is the first!

THIS ALL OCCURRED TODAY ON JULY 1, 2017 AND COMPLETING THIS COMPLAINT @10:46 WITH STILL NO DELIVERY!

(UPDATE) As promised, I took the initiative to transport myself at 10:00 a.m to go to this place with no breakfast in my stomach at all. I don't think will be distributing my earning here anymore because the manager is just worst now and may have to call tomorrow on what this same staff member has told me now. I spoke with the girl regarding not being paid back my $30.86, waiting for the food for 2 hours to closing, and of course as displayed on my photo, no call back. I was ridiculously told that they were closing (which is understandable) and that this manager told her how he CALLED ME THAT SAME NIGHT BUT CLAIMED I NEVER ANSWERED SO HE DIDN'T BOTHER TO SHIP ME MY PIZZA NOR EVEN SAID ANYTHING! SO GLAD I TOOK PICTURES AND WISH THERE WAS AN OPTION TO INCLUDE RECORDINGS AND VIDEOS AS WELL BECAUSE I WAS SCAMMED AND LIED TO HERE! She did state that in less than 2 days that the money would be put back on my card but still, you guys are running an establishment, COMMUNICATION PEOPLE! Perhaps it's because my mother picked up there before and know we're of the black race so they're probably like, who cares! I reviewed a previous one star rating here by Michael regarding of his pizza not...

Waste Not Want Not!!!!!!!

In town for training, first day in my wife and I received the flyer from the hotel lobby. Parking for the establishment is atrocious, there are no signs to point out that the spots are across the street. So after driving back and forth at least 3 times (wasting my time) finally noticed the very dimly lit street across from the place and took a chance and low and behold they have a total of 6 spots and 3 of them were taken up by their vehicles. When we went in we had to speak first to the attendant (this is a pet peeve of mine) who then quickly ran through this very extensive menu. My wife picked a slice of cheese and a slice buffalo chicken pizza she said was delicious! I choose the cheese burger as the flyer made it look deliciously homemade; when I got it twas nothing more than a frozen patty (wasting my time) if I wanted processed meat I could have jus gone to a fast food restaurant.

My wife who very much enjoyed her meal decides to order delivery from there to get the same thing. A woman answered the phone and took our order at 7:30; at 9 o'clock she decided to order from somewhere else. Sad part is I was going to suggest them to my company for lunch. Glad I didn't make my self look like an idiot in front of my new boss. Sooooo no call no show.....I thought people get fired for such negligent behavior at their place of work?!

Will never visit again, never use them again, never even mention their name. Suggest you avoid like the plague; many other eateries around that...
