I first went into the restaurant the Sunday before Thanksgiving to take a look at what their holiday menus were to consist of.
For I was going to be by myself with only my two doggies, because my wife is away ensuring I have the benefits to heal - however so much to be grateful for, as the past few Thanksgivings battling stage 4 cancer diagnosed November 2016.
In remission, walking into the restaurant that first time, I was greeted by the staff and then drawn to Terry at the counter, where I asked question, after question to ensure I understood everything.
Because I wanted a Thanksgiving at home with my doggies, and imagine if you can that I'm demanding fair leader, and things going well were important.
Walking out with a Double Crusted Apple Pie after my bombardment of questions for Terry, with a nice side of their whip, for a little tester before Thanksgiving, I was dialed in.
Returning Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving so everything could be packed to go the way I envisioned - again, I walked in, and Terry was at the counter.
Terry greeted me, and clearly was in command of the restaurant with his teams. The atmosphere had a great vibe, and I observed plenty of guests experiencing The restaurant well.
Terry took my order, added all my al la carte additions, had everything packed greatly. And on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day - my two doggies and myself had a terrific holiday.
My wife and I timed things, where we sat down together - and although thousands of miles apart at this time - we ate, and had a great connection, and a wonderful holiday.
Terry, and in this case Bob Evans, was the key to our enjoyment, and love on this side of Thanksgiving for us.
I appreciate the effort, and to the point my experience this Thanksgiving was top notch, especially because of Terry taking the...
Read moreI had a terrible experience. They just need to fire the whole staff and start from scratch. It all started off really well, the waitress was really polite and seemed friendly. There was already coffee cups placed on the table when we say down. I noticed mine was filthy, with old bits of food stuck to the inside. Well I really wasn't gonna worry about it because I have had plenty of bad experiences with complaining at restraunts (it usually comes back worse) but my husband said something anyways and asked for a new cup. I even apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the waitress when she brought me a new cup. Well as soon as she set the cup down I noticed a small hair in the coffee and not just any kind of hair, it was definitely a PUBIC hair! So I decided to pour the coffee into my regular cupto see if it was the same dirty cup. Well it was WORSE! I THEN asked another waitress for another cup (just the cup) and she was very rude about my inconvenience, and they were literally two inches away. Well finally our food arrived and I realized they hadn't even given me my utensils either. Instead of asking the waitress my husband just got those for me. When I opened them to use I realized they were filthy too, still covered in large chunks of unknown food. I didn't a at nothing and cleaned them myself and tried eatting the food but the potatoes were cold, bacon tasted old and the French toast was soggy and cold in places. I Def feel like they tampered with my food, and I don't recommend anyone eat here unless they don't mind dirty dishes and uncaring staff. The manager was like 18 so I didn't even bother to say nothing because of he cares in the first place, I wouldn't have every dish they bring me still filthy with...
Read moreI ordered the wildfire chicken salad. I asked the server to ask them for fresh chicken, that I didn’t want the precooked chicken they cook. (I used to work here a few years back). I ask for this because I like a softer chicken and hot. So, it took a while, it came out , the chicken not tossed. The server said they didn’t do that. Hmm ok. So I asked for the BBQ sauce that is supposed to be tossed on the chicken. As I’m eating , the salad itself is good. The 2 chicken tenders fried were so crunchy and crispy that I hit it on the plate and it was so hard that it made a clanking noise on the plate. When the server stopped back by , I told her that the chicken wasn’t fresh and clanked it on the dish. She said that it was Fresh, I disagreed. And got ok as she walked away. She went to her manager Toni Austin. As she walked slowly out the swinging door as she rolled her eyes. I again told her that they used precooked chicken and I asked for fresh. She says , well they is me and it is fresh. I again clanked it on the dish. She replied, well do you want me to cook another chicken strip for you? I said no thank you. She made the excuse that maybe the fryer was too hot, but (I) did set the timer. Seriously, do as your customers ask. Cook QUALITY FOOD. As this would not have occurred with different employees. The servers walking around cussing and talking about their personal lives where customers can hear them , Not Professional. Not all of them , but a few of them. This Bob Evans is NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. SADLY. Customer Service used...
