Stoner's Pizza Joint (Bradenton) — Restaurant in South Bradenton

Ordered online and it said grub hub would deliver. Had tried to change to pick up so I called the store to see if it was pick up or delivery they said delivery. About 30-40 minutes got a call saying our pizza wasn’t picked up (not sure why that would be my problem since I tipped paid service fees ect (a delivery service thru them) Picked up the pizza that was lukewarm and the large pizza was wrong. I called the store told them I could bring it back to the the next day and was told didn’t need to ; took my name and number said someone would be calling me. I got a call and the message stated they wanted to straighten things out but I accidentally deleted it. I called the store on 9/3 early evening explained I deleted the message and the guy I spoke with said he knew about my issue and stated they don’t use Grubhub they only use DoorDash so I must have went to the wrong site. I said no It was the same site I have used before; he said I needed to call Grubhub it,wasn’t Stoner’s issue . (So mad I didn’t get his name ). I hope whom ever I spoke with WAS NOT the manager or owner( but to handle the situation it had to be) because they know nothing about their ordering system since I double checked and YES Toast uses GrubHub. So if they don’t know how their delivery works I’m guessing must not know how to read an order or how to treat a customer to keep their business and avoid negative comments to neighbors and friend’s.

I called back to speak to the guy and explain about how THEIR system uses different delivery services. He said call them…..REALLY. I live in an area close where people have ordered from them. We are a tight community. I will make sure everyone knows to not order from them . Pizza places are a dime a dozen I guess Stoner’s has so much business they don’t have time to help you with THEIR mistakes. Save yourself time and aggravation...

Not very good, I thought it would be a cool new place. Stoners pizza joint you’d imagine they’d have exclusive food yanno but nope. They’ll probably go out of business before the year is over. They don’t know how to make pizza at all. Probably just another guy who thinks he can go into a business and turn a profit with no experience. I heard hes a douchebag too.

Response to owner- I do not work at another pizza place down the road lol . I’m just giving my honest review on your business and what I’ve heard about you and your business via your employee. I apologize that you feel that way. I give my honest review on google and you try and say another business told me to do that, which is wrong and a very arrogant thing of you to say or think being a business owner . Maybe take your business and go back to Georgia. You and your business is in the wrong location you can’t come to Bradenton expecting to make money with no experience and then try and talk bad about locals and other local family businesses. You have no right to do so you are not a local. But good luck to you and trying to hire people for less than what McDonald’s pays! Maybe have a real response and not try and make it like I’m giving you a review due to another business because that’s just being a low...

Ordered delivery. Delivery is a 3rd party. The guy I talked to on the phone was great! We had a nice chat and he obviously heard everything I said because I got EXACTLY what I ordered!! The pizza was yummy! I love the crust. Some crunch and nice chewyness. The toppings were beautifully applied. And I dont like sauce, but my boyfriend does. I tried a bite of his and it was really good. A little sweet and a little spicy. Not just acidic. I ended up having a slice. The cheese was cheesy and has that nice chewy stringy consistency like it should. Not soggy and bland. Beware of the cookies!!! They are so.damn.YUMMY! I am really impressed and so happy for GOOD PIZZA!!! I've resorted to making Friday night pizza at home because I couldn't find a pie worth paying for. I think I will be able to relax on Friday night now! Going to order again tonight and see if the consistency is there. I really hope so. Going to give those wings a try too. Thanks...
