I absolutely love everyone who works here, especially Kim. They are all super friendly, they remember their regulars, and they’re very attentive. Everyone responds in a quick manner, and they check on you a lot to make sure you have everything you need.

Kim even surprised my friend and I with mochi as a gift on the house!! (Please don’t get her in trouble for that). She’s amazing.

The food is exceptional. My dad has traveled the world and had fresh, authentic sushi from Japan many times. For him to like a sushi place in the U.S… well, it’s very rare. But he loves this place!

I’d say the prices are fair for the quality and freshness of the food. It’s worth your money with the portions you get, too.

The noodles are incredible! I think the sushi tastes super fresh and delicious. I love the spicy tuna role and several of the special rolls.

I have brought 3 different people here, and I will continue doing so. It’s very small and warm inside. Always good music playing. Cute lighting and gorgeous interior. A small sushi bar at the entrance.

Went here with our kids recently and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The prices were high for what was served — $13 for a kids' meal that was small, bland, and didn’t appeal to my children at all. My own hibachi chicken was $18, much more more expensive than similar dishes at other local spots, with no clear difference in quality. If you go here, you're mostly paying for the nice decor. There’s better food at better value elsewhere.

What impacted us more than the food was the atmosphere. As parents dining with young children, we didn’t feel very welcome. The moment we entered, we immediately noticed disapproving looks from staff and a general air of discomfort directed our way.

When our toddler had a minor spill at the table — the kind of thing that naturally happens with small children — the two servers seemed visibly annoyed, even sucking their teeth in disapproval. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and made it feel like families with young children...

Best sushi in West Bradenton! So happy Bayshore Gardens finally has a great sushi spot! The restaurant is comfortable, chic, clean and pretty quiet, we like that. The sushi is always SO FRESH! The menu is large with variety of standard sushi, specialty rolls, hibachi, katsu, lo mein and more. Whether we are dining in for lunch or dinner or grabbing takeout, the quality and quantity of our orders are always satisfying and consistent. We love the Rock n Roll, OMG, Flamingo and Crazy Girl rolls. The shrimp tempura and fried shumai or gyoza apps are our go to starters. Don’t forget fried Oreos or cheesecake for dessert. The service is always wonderful, greeted with friendly faces, even from the sushi chefs! Our wonderful server Kim always makes sure we are happy and taken care of.
