Stop by today around 7:30 went to order and asked them to take one of the two scoops off a waffle cone and put it in a separate cup. The lady on the other end told me she would have to charge me for the cup. I said OK I went ahead and pulled around to pay and they handed me my waffle cone, which had two scoops in it and handle me a cup as to signify I was suppose to separate the scoops myself. After my failed attempt to try to dump one of the scoops in the cup, and in the process breaking the first cone, I asked if they would please separate one of the two scoops and put it in a cup like I asked. She took the two scoops and the broken cone back and came back with two scoops in a cup with a cone sitting on top again futilely I struggled to use the waffle cone to scoop one of the servings out of the cup and broke the 2nd cone in the process and these people working here are looking at me like I was stupid. I asked for help once again….Then The lady, I originally spoke to who told me they would have to charge me for the cup eventually came to the window and asked me what did I want Stiff and abruptly. I explained to her that I just wanted one of the scoops from my waffle in the cup, like I had previously asked for she told me the next time she would have to charge me that she didn’t charge me this time but when she originally asked me when I was first ordered I said OK so I didn’t understand what the big issue was then. The shift lead came over and told me that I’m not allowed to order it like that ever again but if I did, they would have to charge me separately for the cup …which is contradictory. Needless to say, I don’t know why those three women in there had such awful attitudes. If you had just ran it up correctly the first time and charge me for it There would not have been an issue, but instead three of them made A big deal and went as far to tell me that they wouldn’t be splitting it up ever again if I came back and asked. Interesting that you’re mad at me because you cant follow simple...
Read moreI want to start off saying I ALWAYS tip whenever I go to a restaurant. Typically 25%, sometimes 30 if the service is decent. That said, I'm done with this place. I treat my kids to ice cream sometimes when we're out and I have been here several times. EACH AND EVERY TIME the rude blonde at the drive through hits me up for a tip before I even get my total. (A tip? For WHAT? You LITERALLY handed my kids an ice cream cone through a drive through window.)
That said, I try to be nice and add a few dollars to the total.
This weekend, however, while at the window and AFTER YET AGAIN demanding a tip, I asked her for a sample of a new flavor. She refused saying they "don't provide samples through the drive through" and shut the window.
You don't offer samples in the drive through??? The only two options you HAVE are walk up window and drive through window. So you give samples at one window but not the other?
Fine. I no longer TIP through the drive through. Or you at all.
I'll take my kids to Dairy Queen where the workers are friendly and don't stalk...
Read moreOur family loves Bruster’s! You can’t beat their ice cream selection, serving sizes, and prices. I do wish this was in a better location, but appreciate that they have provided outdoor seating despite the limitations and somewhat chaotic location. They offer a reward program that is very generous. At this location the staff are sometimes rude and unsanitary. By unsanitary I mean they will take cash payments from the customer and then grab an ice cream cone and hand it to you. I personally do not want to eat an ice cream cone that has been touched by someone who has been handling payments from customers. The staff will also have hair down and not tied back. The ice cream is so good and affordable though that we choose to overlook these concerns as we have never had a problem with our our ice cream, despite these observations. This franchise could do better, but we are glad that they are here even if they could stand for...
