My family and I just moved to this side of town, and love trying new places. I ordered 2 very simple pizzas online. One was supposed to be a large ham and pineapple and one a large sausage and cheese. Online it says a bucks deluxe 3 topping And a one topping pizza was available for the family deal. Now, we have never eaten here so had no clue that a bucks deluxe meant it came with it's own toppings. That was not listed on the deal, so being our first order from here, I had no idea. So my fiance picked up the pizzas and brought them home. I noticed my ham and pineapple pizza was covered in mushrooms, peppers, onions, sausage, and pepperoni. So I called to see if there was any way I could have them fix that because I had no clue all those toppings came on my ham and pineapple pizza. I spoke with Lily. She was extremely rude and told me I ordered it wrong, it's my fault, I have to come pay for a whole entire new pizza, and they aren't going to fix it or give me a refund. I argued the point that those toppings should be listed so customers are aware that that's what they are actually ordering. She got silent and then just kept repeating the same thing she said before. I asked if I could speak to a manager because I wasn't getting anywhere. She lied and told me she was the manager and I couldn't speak to anyone else. So she said I could bring the pizza back and get a refund. I returned to their location with the pizza and Lily never showed her face or apologized for speaking to me the way she did over the phone. A woman named Beanie came to the front and told me the same thing Lily did. She was a little nicer about it, but their customer service isnt great. She started off telling me she never said I was getting a refund and it was my fault I didn't read the menu. The toppings are not listed on the family deal that I ordered from. If they were, I would have simply put a note in the prep instructions part to not add those toppings. Then, after arguing with me about it for a good 10 minutes, she finally gave me a refund and changed her tone. Her tone changed the second 2 new customers walked in behind me. We were hoping to find a great new pizza place to order from, but this place is definitely not it. I will never give a place my money that treats customers in that way. And Lily should definitely not be answering the phone and speaking to anyone, especially lying stating she was a manager. Read moreI've ordered occasionally from here for the past 4 years that I've lived here. I live 5 minutes away from this location, so its convenient for delivery and pickup orders. The pizza is good and the ingredients are good quality. However, they recently changed their pizza sauce, and it tastes different in a bad way in my opinion. In the past I would order meatball subs from here, but there was always something wrong with them when I received them; almost every time I received one the meatballs were crushed up (like completely crushed up and then applied to the sub), a couple times there was barely any sauce or cheese on the subs. Now, onto the service review. The ONLY good thing I have to say about their service is that there's an older woman who works the front counter occasionally, and she is the sweetest lady. The customer service that I have received from the rest of the staff has been subpar or downright atrocious. Make sure you place your orders way ahead of time, I've only placed 2 orders that were ready within an hour of them being placed. Whether they were pickup or delivery orders, 99% of my orders have taken over an hour, and sometimes closer to 2 hours, to be delivered or ready for pickup. There has been a couple of orders that I've placed that have been large orders, due to having people over, and I completely understood when it took a longer period of time to prepare and deliver those orders, but I did not appreciate the delivery drivers (it was a different driver for each order) talking about it being such a large order, acting like it was a problem I ordered so much, and essentially seemingly trying to make me feel bad for ordering delivery for a large gathering. Mind you, I ALWAYS tip over 25% on large orders and at least $10 on very small orders, for driver tips, so they definitely weren't being rude due to not getting a decent tip, and solely because of my order being large. I'm sorry, but if I place an order, tip well, and then don't receive my order for 2 hours or more, the driver should have enough professionalism to, at the very least, not be rude. I haven't ordered here in a little while, due to all of the issues I've had in the past, but I will probably go back to see if they've improved service-wise. Read moreIf I could leave no stars I would..This place has gone way downhill at a rapid rate.... the cheese, dough and toppings are low quality...I gave them another chance tonight - (big mistake)... we ordered the 21 slice "Belly Buster" for our family - and trust me - it's easily the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life - my kids refused to eat it.... A pool of grease sat on top of the pizza, the crust was tough - with the consistency and flavor of rubber...It's obvious they are not concerned about using quality ingredients...
I contacted and spoke to the owner and very nicely explained the situation and asked to be refunded for the pizza....(since it wasn't fit for human consumption)... she was not friendly or terribly helpful - and certainly wasn't interested in doing much to fix the situation - she reluctantly agreed to process a refund for the pizza... I verified my name and credit card info with her over the phone - and she indicated she would personally take care of it... well no surprise - there's never been a refund processed back to my card... to add further insult, we had to go elsewhere and pick up additional food that evening to feed our kids - so the entire ordeal really set us back financially and time wise....I will never patronize Buck's Pizza again - my family eats out 2 to 4 times a week and we will be happy to take our money to another local restaurant that actually appreciates their customers, provides good food and operates with integrity..
