I placed a mobile order for breakfast for my family around 10:15 on June 14, 2025. The app said my order would be ready within 10-15 minutes. I waited 55 minutes to receive my order. When I received my order, I didn't even get what I had originally ordered and no one bothered to tell me why. I ordered a Sausage, Egg & Cheese "Muffin" and instead it was put on a biscuit. I had previously overhead an employee tell someone else that they had run out of muffins. I did not think much of it until I went to eat my food and noticed it wasn't what I had ordered. I was handed my food with not so much as a word about any change being made to my order, much less an apologize that they had run out of a certain food.
To add insult to injury, my sister was traveling with her kids with me and ordered her food at the same time but at the counter. She waited almost 1 hour and 30 minutes. She finally went to check on her food and the employee told her that they had lost her order and would she like a refund. She responded with no I would like food as I have been waiting for well over an hour with 2 hungry kids. The employee then responded with I can give you a refund with nothing else being said to make it right. She took the refund and left. My sister was so upset she sat in her car and cried. We were traveling out of town from a stay on Hilton Head Island and still had a long drive ahead of us. And now we had upset kids who patiently waited as well for an hour and 30 minutes and never got any food. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at any fast food restaurant and I would expect better from a Chick-fil-a. Our family visits Hilton Head Island every year and we will NEVER stop at this Chick-fil-a again after this experience. I am a very understanding person and I get that things sometimes are out of your control but there was absolutely no communication by anyone as to why we had to wait over an hour for fast food. Had it just been my sister and I, we would have cancelled our orders and left but we had kids with us and Chick-fil-A is their favorite so we continued to wait. Read moreChick-fil-A needs a 3rd drive-thru line, it would be called the "we botched your order and you shouldn't have to wait 35+ minutes in the line again for us to correct it" lane. The way it works, a disappearing ink sticker is placed on your windshield when collecting your order, if you show back up before the ink on the sticker disappears you are fast tracked to a special lane and the manager immediately comes back out to fix whatever was wrong with your order. But alas, it doesn't exist, which is why I rarely try to go back if something is wrong with my order, I just chalk it up to 'why did I order fast (slow) food to begin with?!'... and I continue driving away. With my recent visit to this location the order was correct! A quick check of the bag and everything was there.... fries, nuggets, chicken sandwich, dipping sauce, napkins, awesome let's get out of here, we've wasted enough time already. Out on the road my passenger reachs into her chicken sandwich foil pouch / bag and pulls out her sandwich... Here comes 2 buns and a chicken patty, but suddenly half of the slides out, hits the dashboard, then hits the floor. Yeah, we're not stupid enough to retrieve half of a chicken patty from the floor mat and put it back inside the bun, do you know the nastiness that's probably been ground into that thing over the years?! Upon further inspection, Chick-fil-A put two, fully prepared, smaller pieces of chicken on one sandwich and figured it was good, think of it like 2 chicken stripes on the same bun.... The chicken patty on the floor mat, fully breaded on all sides, about half the size of a regular chicken patty; the piece that's still on the bun, clenched between her fingers, same. Read moreHello so tonight I pulled in the drive thru at your Bluffton South Carolina location. It was around 9:30pm you still had a decent line of guest. I ordered my food as usual. We are a family of 3 and repeatly get two number ones 1st sandwich pepper jack cheese only 2nd pepper jack cheese and pickles only both Large fries and large drinks. (Dr Pepper & Cherry Coke) One number Spicy Chicken Sandwich w/ pepper jack cheese only also large fry and large drink. (Sprite) we also added 2 ice cream cones and 3 cookies on this evening. I usually always use my mobile app but I only had cash this evening. I do have my receipt still. When we get to the window it takes a little longer then usual but I was fine. I spent $35. I love right by Tanger 2 so I come at least twice a week. Never have a issue before this. So I get our food get home pull out 3 large fries that were very soggy and cold and literally one box that says grilled chicken sandwich w/ extra pickle no tomato. No other sandwich at all. I did get my cookies & ice cream cones. So the store at this time it’s 8 minutes til 10:00pm so you close soon. I ask for manager and it’s a lady named Racheal. I tel her exactly this same thing. She tells me I can come back right now and they would remake everything so I’m like I will send my brother to pick it up have his name and she said that would be fine. So my brother gets there and tries to order and they tell him that they are closed and have all the chicken put up so they cannot make anything. He even said he spoke to the manager as well. They did give him a cold cup of Mac and cheese that was just sitting there. So now. Two trips to chick fila, no dinner, out $35 bucks and kinda disrespected for the lie I was told.
