Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in South Carolina

Let me start by saying the food was good! This was the place we picked to eat for a work lunch. I called around 12 to place the order and the lady that answered the phone was very rude. She said and I quote “if your going to place a big order I need you to learn how to use the app we’re busy, but what can I get for you”. I was shocked! I placed the order (for 8 people $121.00 not bad at all). When I arrived the food was ready, nice place on the inside. Clean and smelled like fresh chicken salad amazing! Got the food and returned back to work to find that 3 of the sandwiches were wrong, some were missing sides, and we were missing scoops of chicken salad. I called and asked for a manager and was told to hold and never got the manager. Oh and might I add when I picked up the food the gentleman in line in front of me was picking up a order for his work also and the same lady was rude and was speaking about him after he left the building. “I told him they better call sooner or use the app next time, bc we’re going to stop this last min ordering stuff”. We were at chicken salad chick on May 1st! I am apart of a group of ladies that eat out every month and we chose chicken salad chick to eat at. We enjoy eating there because it is quiet and we get together to just catch up with each other. We used to all work together so it’s a time for us to reconnect and see how each other is doing and what is going on in our lives. We ate here 2 months in a row because we love the food there but this month we felt as we were pushed out the door at 8:00. They were quite rude about it!!! A couple came in at 7:50 so it was nice as we got more time to reconnect and talk but that poor couple couldn’t even get their drinks refilled nor could we even throw out our trash as they had covered the trash cans!!! We all felt as they pushed us out the door in a very rude manner!!! We all commented as we won’t be going here again for dinner. It was definitely an experience that we will never forget!!! We were delighted with the menu. We thought it would be rather one dimensional but it was not. My partner and I each had the soup and salad combo. I had the broc and cheese soup and my hubby had the loaded potato soup. The soups were made on the premises, not sourced from a supplier. The salads were also made on the premises starting by cooking there own chicken breasts. I had the Buffalo chicken salad and he had the lemon basil chicken salad. We each had our choice of the sides. Hubby chose the broc salad and I chose the grape salad. The plate included a large piece of crispy dill pickle, plenty of crackers for which to scoop up the chicken salad, and a delicious melt in your mouth sugar cookie. The cookie is the only thing not made on the premises. It is contracted out to a local bakery using the original recipe from the founder. The decor is decidedly feminine, but bright and cheery.
