We were visiting my sister and her family, and thought hey lets take them somewhere fun. So we found the closest chuck e cheese and left. Never again will we go to the Spartanburg location. We walked in, and NO ONE was wearing a mask, we got attitude straight away from the young lady at the register. Ok, whatever, right?? 150.00 later, 2 pizzas, wings, fries, drinks and 5 play cards, (Wednesday night is "free" games for kids,) and what we had hoped was gonna be a fun night. Nope.. not at all. More than half the games were broken, the games would take time off your cards, some even removed tickets, but the kicker was, the employees did not care. I had 600ish on my card, my son 400ish, my neices 200 on one, 400 on the other and the 5th card 442. We asked the 5th card to be split between the girls and mine added to my son's card. Well the young guy helping was higher than a kite, could smell it and see it, he was ridiculously rude to the kids. He lied about how many tickets they had left, and then took the cards, without asking us. When my oldest neice came back with an airhead, 2 tootsie rolls, and 5 snakes, I asked where the rest of her stuff was. Her response was "He said I spent it all." Now, Im not a math teacher by any means, but if you have 644 on your card but only use 580, there would be tickets left. So we went back to the counter, and the attitude he threw at me and my neice, I would have fired him on the spot if he was my employee. When I stated he owed her tickets "No we dont. I can count. Would you like to count?" And I did. And proceeded to tell him that 580 does not equal 644. He rolled his eyes, along with the girl beside him, and nastly asked my neice what she wanted. So of course I talked to the manager and she was fantastic about trying to fix the issue. She gave all 3 of the kids a cotton candy and apologized. When we walked away from her, one of the employees, she was mopping the floor called me a Bi*ch. This store needs alot of help. This was the biggest issue out of the cluster of issues we had. But again, especially at the...

I checked the website before even arriving to this location. The website, call center, and head quarters (spoke to a customer service rep) said that this particular location opened at 10:00. I tried to call the number and I went through ALL the options. The automated service even gave me the local number to this particular location. I could NEVER get anyone to answer the phone. I had to entertain my kids for an hour. Once we finally got in, some of the games were not working, tickets were not coming out of machines, one of the ticket “munchers” was not working, and at 12:30 only half of the salad bar was put out on the bar. In the middle of me writing this review, headquarters called me. The customer service was superb. I only spoke to her about the discrepancy of the time it was supposed to open. I never did share about the games and salad bar. She is mailing my kids a food voucher, game cards, and 500 tickets per child. I am still not satisfied with the Spartanburg location, but the customer service at headquarters was phenomenal. I will say that I love the 60 minute playing cards. It would be nice if tickets were loaded on card. This would make things a little more efficient for both guests...

Chucky the RAT was RUDE! My 5 yr old grad daughter stood with her arms held open for a hug he walked by her looked down at her stepped AROUND her and walked to the back! She busted out crying it was heartbreaking for this GiGi!! She was the only child standing there and yes he did SEE her because he had to look down at her then walk around her!!! She wanted to leave immediately but since I had just spent 90 dollars on pizza, drinks and playtime for 2 kids I wanted to stay! Extremely RUDE! We have had many many many parties there through the years but that day was simply because my granddaughter asked to " go see Chuckie". We paid for an hour of play with our lunch so we were there from noon till around 2pm ( almost 2 hours) and NEVER saw him come out!!!! We were there on Sat Feb 6th although many tables were set up for parties during that time there were only about 25 ppl in there total. Very very disappointed in one of our family's favorite places because now my granddaughter doesn't "ever want to see...

Firstly the pizza; even though expensive, was great! Worth the price! I took my kids to this location for the first time & I have to say I was a little heartbroken at how much one of my favorite childhood memories had changed. Where did the playground go? All the cool "bigger" kid stuff? It's now to me ideal for toddlers & preschoolers. My 4th grader didn't fit on any of the rides, the games were so super easy (the ones that worked) & the stage was just emptiness, no green screen with camcorders & live TV for the kids to play with. The mechanical mouse never came on even though they counted down for him, & there was no mouse out & about giving kids the excitement I got to feel. My kids still had fun & enjoyed the time there but while I stood there watching them all I could think of is what all they were missing out on & it is disheartening because the Chuck E Cheese I knew was iconic & to looks of it will be out of business soon. Sad. Just sad. 😔

Tldr: Chuck E Cheese is good again. You should go. Clean and the games work. Chuck E got an upgrade from when I was a kid. You have game cards and the prices are good (see attached picture). You can play by the minute or by games. It's basically run by teenagers but they are pretty good. The food is decent and they have a gluten free pizza option. The bathrooms are clean and so is the arcade floor. If you have Littles you can actually buy prizes. So they can go ham and you can spend points plus 5 bucks to get something cute for them. They also have Chuck E appearances but it isn't over done. Give them a try :)

Awful experience. For more than $50, we had 45 minutes of game time with numerous games broken. The pizza was alright, but nothing to get excited about. The cashier had her mask off multiple times as did several workers that walked in but we were told to put ours on as we were leaving by the same cashier. Never again will we waste our money here. I knew there must be a reason nobody was there on a Saturday afternoon. Awful experience. The pictures are of all of the different machines falling apart. We won't be back.
