We were visiting my sister and her family, and thought hey lets take them somewhere fun. So we found the closest chuck e cheese and left. Never again will we go to the Spartanburg location. We walked in, and NO ONE was wearing a mask, we got attitude straight away from the young lady at the register. Ok, whatever, right?? 150.00 later, 2 pizzas, wings, fries, drinks and 5 play cards, (Wednesday night is "free" games for kids,) and what we had hoped was gonna be a fun night. Nope.. not at all. More than half the games were broken, the games would take time off your cards, some even removed tickets, but the kicker was, the employees did not care. I had 600ish on my card, my son 400ish, my neices 200 on one, 400 on the other and the 5th card 442. We asked the 5th card to be split between the girls and mine added to my son's card. Well the young guy helping was higher than a kite, could smell it and see it, he was ridiculously rude to the kids. He lied about how many tickets they had left, and then took the cards, without asking us. When my oldest neice came back with an airhead, 2 tootsie rolls, and 5 snakes, I asked where the rest of her stuff was. Her response was "He said I spent it all." Now, Im not a math teacher by any means, but if you have 644 on your card but only use 580, there would be tickets left. So we went back to the counter, and the attitude he threw at me and my neice, I would have fired him on the spot if he was my employee. When I stated he owed her tickets "No we dont. I can count. Would you like to count?" And I did. And proceeded to tell him that 580 does not equal 644. He rolled his eyes, along with the girl beside him, and nastly asked my neice what she wanted. So of course I talked to the manager and she was fantastic about trying to fix the issue. She gave all 3 of the kids a cotton candy and apologized. When we walked away from her, one of the employees, she was mopping the floor called me a Bi*ch. This store needs alot of help. This was the biggest issue out of the cluster of issues we had. But again, especially at the Spartanburg location.
